We offer comprehensive training programs with advanced technological capabilities, modern equipment, facilities and skilled instructors. Diversified training programs and customized services are offered at our two campuses. We welcome you to join us in lifelong learning. Full-Time Career Development Programs Cosmetology/Cosmetology Advanced This 1,500-1,800 clock hour program prepares students to take the Ohio Board of Cosmetology Licensure Exam, which allows successful completers to work as hairstylists, estheticians and nail technicians. Students may choose to take an additional 300-clock hour course, which prepares them for salon management. Heavy Equipment and Site Construction Technician and CDL-A This 600-clock hour or 820-clock hour course utilizes the NCCER curriculum. Students receive training on 11 pieces of Caterpillar equipment. Instruction includes reading blueprints, grade checking equipment, GPS equipment (survey and machine operation), safety, and preventive maintenance. The 820-clock hour course includes CDL Class A Commercial Truck Driver training and HazMat training. Required externship: 120 clock hours. Electromechanical PLC Technician This 900-clock hour program provides classroom and hands-on training needed for entry-level maintenance positions in today’s industrial setting. Fees include tuition, e-book computer access seats, FANUC Robotics Programming and System Integration, OSHA 10-hour General Industry and American Heart First-Aid/ CPR certifications. Electrical Power Line Mechanic This 900-clock hour program provides skills needed to be highly productive on utility and construction company line crews in the power delivery industry. The program focuses strongly on students learning the academic and field skills necessary to be successful apprentice line workers. Fees include tuition, textbooks, tools, CDL Class A Training, and certifications for OSHA 10-hour Construction and American Heart First-Aid/CPR. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning This 600-clock hour HVAC program provides training in required skills for entry level positions with companies that install, operate, troubleshoot and service light commercial and domestic air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment in private homes, office buildings, factories, etc. Fees include tuition, textbooks, tools, OSHA 10-hour General Industry and American Heart FirstAid/CPR, EPA (Sec. 608 & R-410A), and ICE certifications.

Cisco Certified Network Administrator This 640-clock hour program covers the skills needed to quickly get certifications in CompTIA A+, Security+, Server+, Network+, Linux Essentials, and Windows Configuration (MCTS 70-680). The Cisco Network Administrator track includes certification in Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT ICND1 100-105) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA ICND2 200-105). Information Technology students take certification exams oncampus at WCCC’s Regional Assessment/Testing Center on our main campus in Lebanon, OH. Medical Assistant This 900-clock hour program prepares students to work in a physician’s office, clinic, hospital or other medical facility. Learn office management, computer billing, in-office clinical procedures, patient care, and more. Required externship: 220 clock hours. Dental Assisting This 640-clock hour program prepares students to work with patients as part of a team of health professionals, using the equipment found in a dental practice and lab. Students can earn certification to begin a career and prepare for further education. Job shadowing may be available. Required externship: 40 clock hours. Medical Multiskilled Technician This 736-clock hour program prepares students with crosstraining in more than one healthcare skill. In addition to general education and health technology core courses, students get specialized training as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), EKG Technician (CET) and Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). Required externship: 170 clock hours. Welding Technician/AWS Certified This 600-clock hour program correlates to the American Welding Society’s Guide for Training and Qualification of Welding Personnel-Entry Level Welder. Fees include tuition, textbooks, apparel, tools, American Welding Society Certifications, OSHA 10-hour General Industry and American Heart First-Aid/ CPR certifications.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer's network. There were nearly 366,400 computer network operators in the U.S., according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Computer networks are critical parts of almost every organization. Network administrators are responsible for the day-to-day operation of these networks. What is it? CCNA certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. What do I get? The Cybersecurity Technician (CySA) program guides the student through the CompTIA suite of certifications to ultimately achieve CySA+ certification, which is an international, vendor neutral credential that applies behavioral analytics to improve the overall state of IT security. Understand a wide variety of issues ranging from operating systems to mobile and IoT devices: • Design and implement functional Client/Server networks, regardless of the devices being used. • Configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices • Identify how switches and routers are used to segment network traffic and create resilient networks. • Identify benefits and drawbacks of existing network configurations. • Implement firewall security, standards, and protocols • Identify and Troubleshoot network issues. • Support the creation of virtualized networks in Windows, Mac, Linux or UNIX environments. • Configure and use threat detection tools. • Perform basic data analysis of a security breach. • Interpret the results to identify and resolve vulnerabilities, threats and risks to an organization. CySA+ certified skills are in-demand Properly trained IT security staff who can analyze, monitor and protect cybersecurity resources are in high demand. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts that information security analysts will be the fastest growing overall job category, with 37% overall growth between 2012 and 2022. CySA+ is government approved CompTIA CySA+ meets the ISO 17024 standard and is approved by U.S. Department of Defense to fulfill Directive 8570.01-M requirements. It is compliant with government regulations under the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). The Cosmetology Program includes both theory classes and practical lab experiences in the school’s Cosmetology Salon. Students practice with live models, manikins and gain real work experience with individual clients and by participating in community service projects. Students will learn the art of hairstyling, including haircut, style, color, etc., as well as how to perform facials, manicures and pedicures. Why this program? Electrocardiogram Technicians operate machines that record electromotive variations in a patient’s heart muscle. These tests provide important data for the diagnosis of heart ailments. Projected job growth in Medical Technician areas continues to be much faster than the average for all occupations. EKG Technicians are needed in both hospitals and diagnostics laboratories. What is it? EKG Technicians perform EKGs, stress testing, and Holter monitoring, edit and deliver final test results to physicians for analysis, schedule appointments and transcribe physician’s interpretations. Pharmacy Technicians assist licensed pharmacists to provide medication and other health care products to patients. Technicians perform routine tasks to help prepare prescribed medications. They also perform administrative duties such as answering phones, stocking shelves, and operating credit card machines and cash registers. Employment of pharmacy technicians is projected to grow 20% from 2012-2022, much faster than the average for all occupations. The State of Ohio Approved Phlebotomy Technician’s primary role is to collect blood for accurate and reliable test results. Structural Collapse Technician* Tuition: $300 This course will instruct students to shore and perform victim rescue in structural collapse of buildings and other type of structures. Trench Rescue Technician* Tuition: $250 This course is designed for technical rescue team members who respond to trench and/or excavation accidents. This course is taught to OSHA Standard CFR 1926 and NFPA Standards 1670 and 1006, 2011 edition. This course trains responders to the Operations Level. Topics in the course include development of protective systems, access and disentanglement of victims in trench or excavation collapses in straight trenches and T trenches. Wide Area Search* Tuition: $250 The participants will learn how to prepare for a wide area search incident locating a missing person and how to operate as a search asset at the first responder level. HOW TO REGISTER

Senior citizens (62 years of age and older) may enroll in part-time, shortterm adult education classes for onehalf the cost of the tuition. Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces are entitled to take resume and interviewing skills classes at no cost. This program does not include full-time adult education programs or those considered career development programs. The above discounts will be offered only when there is adequate revenue to run the course and space is available. Any textbook and/or manual, supplies and lab fees needed for the course(s) would be an additional cost for the enrollee and is not included in the cost of the tuition.

1. Attend an info session to learn about WCCC and the programs we offer. 2. Meet with the coordinator for the program you are interested in and receive a registration packet. 3. To complete the registration process, you must complete the following: a. Fill out the entire application. b. Pay the $60.00 registration fee when you turn in your registration form. c. Sign up for workkeys if your program of study requires it. d. Show us your high school diploma, official transcript, GED or university diploma so we can make a copy for your file. 4. Part time students pay their program tuition up front. 5. Full time students need to meet with the financial aid coordinator.

1. Selected part-time classes, workshops or special events may be exempt from discounts–check with coordinator. 2. Enrollee must identify himself/ herself as a Senior Citizen at the time of registration. Discounts will not be awarded once the registration process is completed. No Senior discount will be given after a class has started. Seniors are officially enrolled at the discounted rate when minimum enrollment required for the class has been met.

CLASS OPERATION AND STUDENT ENROLLMENT

• A class must have sufficient enrollment three days prior to the start date to run. The Warren County Career Center reserves the right to cancel a class with insufficient enrollment. • All fees must be paid at least three days prior to the start of each class. A student is considered to be enrolled only after tuition and fees have been paid in full (or financial aid has been approved) and all entrance requirements for the program have been met.

REFUND POLICIES Information Technology & State Tested Nursing Assistant

Payment for these programs is due at the time of registration. To receive a refund, students must notify the school if they are unable to attend at least 3 days prior to the start of the first Information Technology program and 1 day prior to the start of the State Tested Nursing Assistant class. If the student does not provide the required notice, no refund will be issued.

Course / Classes (1-599 clock hours)

If a class meets for only one session, a refund is available only to students who notify the Adult Education and Workforce Development Department of their withdrawal 3 days prior to the session starting. For classes that meet for more than one session and for 20 hours or less, full refunds are available only to students who withdraw at least 3 days prior to the start of the first class. Students who withdraw after that, but before the second class session begins, will be charged a prorated fee for the first class session. No refund will be available if the student withdraws after the beginning of the second class. For classes that are 21-599 clock hours long, full refunds are available only to students who withdraw at least 3 days prior to the start of the first class. Students who withdraw after that, but before the second class session begins, will be charged a prorated fee for the first class session and a $25 administrative fee. No refund will be available if the student withdraws after the beginning of the second class.

Programs / Pathways (600 clock hours or more)

Financial obligation is calculated on a term-by-term basis. Each Full-Time program is divided into two equal terms. Once the term begins, tuition will be refunded according to Warren County Career Center’s refund policy as published in the Student Consumer Handbook. If the student is receiving Federal financial aid, an additional calculation will be made using the Return To Title IV Funds policy, which is mandated by the U.S. Department of Education.

Sources of Financial Aid 1. Federal Title IV Financial Aid • *Pell Grant – Need based federal grant that does not

have to be repaid. Maximum grant for the 2018-2019 award year is $6,095 for a 900 clock hour program. Grants for programs less than 900 clock hours are prorated. • *Subsidized Direct Loan – Need based loan. The U.S. Department of Education pays interest while the borrower is in school. Maximum award amount is $3,500 for both independent and dependent students for a 900 clock hour program. Loans for programs less than 900 clock hours are prorated. Repayment normally begins six months after the student leaves school. • *Unsubsidized Direct Loan – Not need based. Borrower is responsible for interest during the life of the loan. Maximum amount is $2,000 for a dependent student and $6,000 for an independent student for a 900 clock hour program. Loans for programs less than 900 clock hours are prorated. Repayment normally begins six months after the student leaves school. • *Direct Parent Plus Loan – Parents of dependent students may apply.
