Throughout 14-week Furniture Design module, I would say I gained a lot of knowledge and skills which I can personally feel I improved from the perspective of aesthetic, practical and even work wholeheartedly to every projects given. “ You get what you pay for”, I definitely agree with it. In the first assignment, I learn a lot through discovering the joineries created / designed by “someone”. When studying about the joineries, I really respect these people who created things for us, I was curious how their brain work to create such things even for a little thing that we normally overlooked. After from that, I also learn how to make the things more visualization, communicate through visualization. Due to the pandemic, I completed the artist’s box in my house. I gained some skills and knowledge when doing the artist’s box with the guidance of my father. To summarize that a good handicraft need patience and passion.

Last but not least, final assignment which is kinetic wall is more challenger part as it needs to design a multifunctional furniture with my own. But it’s worth because I experience the process of how to design and do a furniture from the beginning which is gather and think an idea to making prototype, technical drawings and lastly compose all the things nicely. I can understand the process of design a furniture in the industry through this assignment. I think it would help me in the future.
