Why Forest Ridge? Curriculum

• Selective, All-Girl English Immersion Summer Program, limited to 21 students • 3 levels of English to challenge all student abilities • Small classes, 7 or less • Use of school laptop for 4 weeks • Excellent Residential Life curriculum to learn American customs and culture • Sacred Heart Network School with roots in Catholic tradition • Established school with long history, in operation since 1907

Residential Living & Community • Engaging dorm activities to build community and lasting friendships • 24-hour staff supervision • Campus security team • Beautiful campus setting in suburban area • Located less than 20 minutes from the worldclass city of Seattle

All-Day English Our full schedule keeps students working, thinking and playing in English.

Academic Classes 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Reading & Writing

10:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Break 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Speaking & Listening

Extracurricular Classes 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Theater

2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Sports, Dance, Yoga

3:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Break

3:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Art, Science, 3D Design

8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Weekend trips and activities are coordinated to enhance classroom learning. Past summer weekend trips have included: • Pike Place Market • Seattle Aquarium • The Space Needle • Seattle Art Museum • Ferry Ride to Tillicum Village

Information Summer Program Fee: $6,950 (does not include airfare). Fee Includes: • All class fees • Books • Use of laptop • All meals and snacks • Admission fees to all local attractions • International insurance fees

• Woodland Park Zoo • Experience Music Project (EMP) Museum • Chihuly Glass Museum • Boeing Museum of Flight • Burke Museum • Indoor Rock Climbing

Residential Life 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Activities

• Seattle Mariners Game • Hike to Snoqualmie Falls • Shopping trips to Bellevue Square and University Village
