Speed EPDating Sebastian Gann Zumtobel Group, Environmental Program Manager
What initially took months can now be achieved in just a few minutes: The Zumtobel Group started to provide Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) three years ago following an increasing number of market requests. It soon became clear that the full value of this initiative could only be realised if the generation of EPDs was based around integrated IT processes. Today it is possible to make EPDs available on demand according to a certified process. Approximately 1,000 different EPDs have since been generated, and after this short feature it shall be one more.
