fter millennium, the surveillance topic has become popular because of both abundant filmic works and reveal of several secret but existed surveillance program. Meanwhile, advanced technology allows all surveillance activities remaining undetectable while everywhere. In economic sector, the data maybe replace the petroleum and become the new oil. Even in current epidemic situation due to COVID-19, surveillance approaches on biometric data has actually assisted with management. All these occurring situation without exemption reminds us of surveillance age’s coming. Therefore, this thesis will choose surveillance as broad topic.
T
his thesis seeks to explore the potential typology for surveillance architecture through one specific commissions from Google of a DATA FARM. Through exploring the possible typology, this thesis also aims to emphasis data as an essential factor in architectural design. Meanwhile, this thesis attempt to retrospect/redefine the basic concept of architecture, publicness in particular.
T
o achieve these objectives, on the one hand, the research process will be supported by abundant literature review not only in architecture fields but other relevant aspects including society, economy and technology. On the other hand, a new Data Impact Assessment (DIA) inspired by Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) is introduced as trigger. This new DIA plays as methodology and foundation to explore architectural toolbox and strategy

THE ACTION IS THE FORM STANLEY MARKET
2018 LSA MArch Group Project
T
his project tends to find an architectural solution for the area in front of Stanley Dock. Our group's solution is to re-active this area by creating a free market with plenty facilities and also woking as a transportation junction which connected to a train station. he manifesto "the action is the form" comes from Keller Easterling's book. It indicates the main form of our project is made up of a pathway leading to the station --- which is the action of all people who want to go through this building. he highlight of this project could be the design of "tree-like" main space, which is made by parametric design and assembled in ARCHICAD BIM, all drawings are came from this workflow.

HOUSE IN THE CITY CITY IN THE HOUSE HIGH YARD 2016 LSA BArch Individual Project
HIGH YARD
I
n this project, we use London as the study target, dealing with the architectural challenges of living in cities today. We started to look at the relationship between existing buildings and the empty sapce. The site is made up of two office building groups, and a public walkway in the middle. The result of our analysis is, the buildings, urban planning, or existing city lifestyle, is always separated by the “void” in the city, which can be the inapposite roads, terrain factors, or like the situation in Our site---waste of space, and whilst a wasting of more possibilities of different city lifestyle. So our task is like to fill up the “void” with residential apartments, find the possiblilities of different city life.
C
oncept came from using the “Void” between existing buildings, to be a residential area. People live in a yard which is in the high space and with a complete communicatiob area---“a small city‘ in the void. Incluiding private and public space that just like a yard in the air ---- so called High Yard.

HOUSE IN THE CITY-CITY IN THE HOUSE STABLE PROMENADES
2017 LSA BArch Individual Project
T
he Stables Market was owned by Bebo Kobo, OD Kobo, Richard Caring and Elliot Bernerd of Chelsfield Partners until 2014. It was sold in 2014 for $685 million and is owned today by Market Tech PLC, a UK AIM listed public company. The market is located in the historic former Pickfords stables and Grade II listed[10] horse hospital which served the horses pulling Pickford's distribution vans and barges along the canal. Many of the stalls and shops are set in large arches in railway viaducts. Chain stores are not permitted and trade is provided by a mixture of small enclosed and outdoor shops and stalls, of which some are permanent, and others hired by the day. or almost impression about the Stable Market in Camedenlock, it's old. The stable market was built in 1854, which has a very strong building atmosphere ---- old brick building groups. The whole site is large, and there are archs, ramp, long walway..which is just perfect for promenades. For the four main buildings here, The Stable, Long Stable, Horse Hospital, and Provender Store, all of them will become parts of the design ---- keep every old memory. Therefore, the old texture like brick facades will be kept, but all the load-bearing structures have to be redesigned. The layout of flats will cut hose existing building into several "fragments", and those fragments will play as service or circulation areas. and also. each of them is one promenade. So in the future planing of this site, it's becoming a mixed living zone with strong contrast of old and new, and providing various and enjoyable experience of promenade.
