THE BRAND

The clothing company Pelle P is based on Pelle Petterson's lifestyle and his accomplishments as a top-level sportsman. Cecilia grew up around sailboat racing and in the ski slopes with her dad.

The inspiration and professional skills comes from what we call True Experience, to make the most of your experience, that’s what Pelle P is all about. The collections consist of skiwear, sailing gear, golf wear and sport fashion.

You can’t predict which experience will become the most memorable. But you can increase the chances of an unforgettable experience. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Our brand should be visible, but make minimal environmental impact.

From the beginning of Pelle P, the environment has always been a concern of ours and caring for it an important philosophy for our brand. Pelle Petterson himself knows the importance of caring for nature and the environment having lived almost all his life participating in sports such as sailing, downhill skiing and golf. It is from this mindset Pelle P originated.

But for us, it's not just about creating products that meet your expectations. It is also about developing materials that can handle tough wear when used while having the lowest possible environmental impact.

The technologies used to recycle fabric are still in constant development and the potential is promising. We use recycled polyester in many fabrics and insulation materials. Each season, the proportion of recycled material in our collections is getting bigger and bigger, and with the help of innovative partners we are constantly moving forward.

We understand that in order to make a difference in environmental impact everyone must take responsibility. Therefore, it is important to us to continue to innovate to make as small of an environmental impact as possible. The production of clothing (and most other physical products) will undoubtedly affect the environment, however it is possible to influence how big the impressions will be.

An example of our continued effort toward sustainability is our biodegradable and reusable bags given to customers instead of plastic bags within our stores

Those who work with our product development visit our production partners several times during the production period. This ensures a good quality standard and working environment, as well as maintaining good relationships with our suppliers, which is also an important component in sustainable manufacturing.

We are doing a lot of good today, but at the same time we know that we can always find ways to improve.

HI-RES 15T2LTM STRETCH MEMBRANE

Hi Res stands for Hi Water Resistance and Hi Respiratory Functions. The 2L fabric consists of two layers, a durable outer material with DWR (durable water resistance) that has been laminated together with the highly breathable and waterproof Hi-Res membrane. Our garments are made in a HI-RES 15K2LTM STRETCH MEMBRANE, its 4-way stretch offers freedom of movement as well as great comfort. This membrane prevents water and wind from entering yet allows perspiration to escape.

BENEFITS

Warmth

Of all insulations, down will give you the greatest warmth for the least weight. Each ounce of high quality down has about 2 million fluffy filaments that interlock and overlap to form a protective layer of still air that keeps warmth in and cold out.

Durability

When cared for properly (washed regularly and stored open in a cool, dry place), down will maintain its loft and insulation for a lifetime.

Comfort

The many individual plumules of down allow it to mold to your body. Its high warmth to low weight ratio makes it easy to wear or sleep under, and its ability to wick away moisture and to breathe avoids the clamminess issues that are sometimes felt with synthetics.

Sustainability

Down is the by-product of a renewable resource, it is biodegradable and recyclable, it will last for decades, and it allows you to lower your thermostat.

Plannard Grid 4-way stretch fabric wicks moisture away from your skin and are very breathable. It keeps you dry when you sweat and provide warmth without weight. The special grid weave on the inside provide supreme wicking properties and temperature regulation for optimal comfort.

The fabric has a smooth face that gives the garment a clean look so it can be worn as an outer garment, in the city or while doing sports as well as with additional layers for warmth.

Hi Res stands for Hi Water Resistance and Hi Respiratory Functions. The 2L fabric consists of two layers, a durable outer material with DWR (durable water resistance) that has been laminated together with the highly breathable and waterproof Hi-Res membrane. Our garments are made in a HI-RES 15K2LTM STRETCH MEMBRANE, its 4-way stretch offers freedom of movement as well as great comfort. This membrane prevents water and wind from entering yet allows perspiration to escape.
