■ INSTALLATION, STARTING UP ʚ INSTALLED Weight of empty cabinet: 75 kg. Weight of cabinet with chargers: up to 90 kg depending on chargers installed. FIXING CHARGING STATION TO WALL The cabinet may be fixed only to a brick-built type wall. 4 anchorage pins are needed to fix the station in place. Use anchorage pins suitable for the type of wall which will support the station: => For a solid concrete wall (not subject to cracking) or a solid brick wall: RS PRO - REF 908-6895 or RAWL FIXINGS - REF R-RBL-M06/10W => For a natural stone, breeze block or hollow block wall: RAWL FIXINGS - REF R-RBL-M06/10W Stages: 1– Drill 4 x 12mm holes, 55mm deep at the positions specified below. Comment: For fixing to a brick wall, the pins must not be inserted in the mortar joints. 2– Remove the debris, and clean the holes thoroughly with a brush or suitable pump. 3– Separate the pre-assembled bolts and washers, then insert the pins into the 4 holes using a hammer, until they are flush. 4– Screw the 2 bolts and washers into the top fixings, and tighten them to the torque recommended for the chosen model (6 Nm for the RS PRO brand / 6.5 Nm for the RAWL FIXINGS brand). 5– Unscrew the 2 bolts to leave a gap of 5mm between the washers and the wall so that the panel of the cabinet fits between the washers and the wall. 6– Using suitable handling equipment lift the cabinet and put it in place on to the pins (6 Nm for the RS PRO brand / 6.5 Nm for the RAWL FIXINGS brand). 7– Screw the 2 bolts and washers into the bottom fixings through the holes in the cabinet, and tighten them to the torque recommended for the chosen model (6 Nm for the RS PRO brand / 6.5 Nm for the RAWL FIXINGS brand).
Remove the shelf from the cabinet to make installation easier. (see p.16)

INSTALLATION ON A WORK SURFACE
The cabinet must be placed onto a work surface and rest against a wall. The two upper drill holes are used to fix the cabinet to the wall. For this, use bolts and screws (not supplied) to suit the type of supporting surface. The work surface, made of a non-flammable material, must be stable and designed to support the weight of the cabinet.
POSITION OF POWER CABLE
Depending on the position of the cabinet, the qualified electrician responsible for connecting the cabinet may change the position of the charging station power cable (see p. 14).

ʚ DETAILS OF CALCULATIONS FOR SAVINGS MADE 1kWh battery on average corresponds to about 3.5L of fuel + oil mixture used to run a petrol-driven tool.
THE FOLLOWING CALCULATIONS GIVE EXAMPLES TAKEN FROM ESTIMATED VALUES AT THE TIME THE MANUAL WAS WRITTEN. THE STATISTICS CALCULATED BY THE CHARGING STATION DEPEND ON THE DATA ENTERED BY THE USER. THESE DATA HAVE TO BE KEPT UP TO DATE REGULARLY, SO THAT THE CALCULATIONS CORRESPOND AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE TO THE REAL SITUATION. CALCULATION OF AVERAGE SAVINGS MADE: The application uses a default price for fuel mixture of 1.5€ per litre. So 1kWh consumed by a Pellenc portable power tool is the equivalent of 3.5 x 1.5 = 5.25 € fuel mix consumed to run a petroldriven tool. In France the price of 1 kWh is 0.16 €. For 1kWh consumed using a Pellenc power tool, the average saving compared to use of a petrol-driven tool is: 5.25 - 0.16 =5.09€. CALCULATION OF CO2 EMISSION SAVINGS The carbon footprint of fuel mixture is 2.54kg / L of CO2. So 1kWh consumed by a Pellenc portable power tool is the equivalent of 2.5 x 2. 54 = 8.90 kg of CO2 emitted by using a petroldriven tool. In France production of 1kWh of electricity generates on average 0.09 kg de CO2. For 1kWh consumed using a Pellenc power tool, the average saving in CO2 emissions compared to use of a petrol-driven tool is: 8.90 - 0.09 = 8.81 kg CO2
