SUSTAINABLE AND REPAIRABLE PRODUCTS PELLENC designs and manufactures durable, robust, and repairable tools, motors, and batteries for professional use. In this way, we are fighting against planned obsolescence.

As a pioneer in the manufacture of batterypowered tools, our experience has enabled us to ensure a long service life. At PELLENC, we provide information about the number of charging cycles** from which the capacity falls to 80% of its initial value, so that the batteries can still be used. New battery

Finally, PELLENC provides end of life data sheets to guide recycling workers in dismantling the products. As for the batteries, 98% of the lithium-ion cell components can be recovered using a hydrometallurgical recycling process. In our concern for the innovative design of our range of portable power tools, up to their end of life, we made the decision to join the following approved eco-organisations in France:

When a tool has come to the end of its life, you can bring it back to your distributor or to any other collection point intended for that type of waste (Ecologic collection points, local disposal sites, etc.).

CUTTING OUT EMISSIONS Over more than 10 years, PELLENC has invested heavily in the design and manufacture of a comprehensive range of “Zero Emissions” battery-powered tools. The aim was to provide a range of tools offering at least the same performance levels (power, battery life, etc.) as their petrol-motor equivalents, but with no direct CO2 emissions.

Economy mode An Eco mode is available on the brush cutter. This brings the dual advantages of extending the machineâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s operating time and working at lower speed to limit the scattering of debris, which is especially useful in urban environments.

PELLENC twisted line significantly improves the performance of the brush cutter, both in terms of energy consumption and noise. It is specially designed to provide high resistance to abrasion, thereby avoiding excessive wire consumption.
