INTERNET-CONNECTED MACHINES

The addition of the OPTIMUM carrier telemetry option enables automatic and secure data feedback from sensors installed on the carrier and the attached tool. The processing of these data on the PELLENC CONNECT CLOUD allows the customer and the distributor to benefit from key information to optimise and simplify the use and monitoring of the machines.

FLEET MONITORING

With the telemetry option on the OPTIMUM, monitor your equipment fleet in real time thanks to the data collected on the carrier and the coupled tool. View remotely on a tablet, PC or smartphone:

• the locations of the various machines

• the settings of the carrier and the coupled tool

• maintenance reminders

• fault codes

You can anticipate maintenance and servicing to ensure maximum productivity throughout the year, especially during the harvest.

The monitoring of work during intensive periods is also simplified thanks to real-time access to machine settings and monitoring of the work done, etc.

PRECISION VINE GROWING

With your OPTIMUM multifunction carrier, optimise the monitoring and management of your vineyard using the agronomic data collected in the plots during work.

OPTIMUM allows you to generate:

• Yield maps during the harvest

• Plant vigour maps during pre-pruning

The maps generated make it possible to optimise the potential of the plots by controlling, in a precise manner, the following operations:

• fertilisation

• pruning management

• irrigation

• phytosanitary spraying

• vine plant replacement

• soil analyses

• etc.

Yield mapping (PREMIUM weighing option)*

During the harvest, the continuous weighing of the mass of grapes harvested in each area of the plot makes it possible to obtain a yield map.

With the PREMIUM weighing option, you can also see the quantity of grapes on PELLENC CONNECT:

• currently in the bins

• harvested in each plot

Access to the maps and agronomic data is only possible for the owner of the machine that generated the data.

Plant vigour mapping**

This mapping is generated during pre-pruning, via the sensor used on VISIO for the automatic opening at the posts on the TLVP pre-pruner. It also records the number and diameter of vine shoots.

Settle into your OPTIMUM and enjoy very high level comfort and safety. Everything has been designed so that, throughout the day, you feel perfectly at ease.

PREMIUM COMFORT

The GRAMMER* air suspension seat with automatic weight detection is heated, ventilated and equipped with an anti-vibration system. It is also fully adjustable to adapt perfectly to your body type, as are most of the steering / control features: armrest, steering column, touchscreen orientation and electric rear-view mirrors. You enjoy a healthy and restful working position, hour after hour.

Particular attention has also been paid to the sound insulation of the cab. The low noise level in the cab guarantees your comfort during the long working hours.

INTEGRATED STORAGE SPACES

Everything you may need is within easy reach. Numerous storage spaces are available and easily accessible, including a bottle holder, a refrigerated compartment with a capacity of 20 litres and a 30-litre compartment under the seat. A Bluetooth radio and 2 USB sockets make life on board even more pleasant.

IDEAL TEMPERATURE

The cab is equipped with air conditioning and heating, all adjustable from the EASY TOUCH touchscreen.

MANOEUVRING CAMERAS

Several high-definition colour cameras and night vision make manoeuvring easier and safer.

FULLY SECURE CAB

The cab has a structure that complies with the European standard for rollover protection ROPS code 4. It is also pressurised* and filtered* in accordance with category 4 (EN 15695). A presence sensor stops the harvesting head if you leave your seat. OPTIMUM is also equipped with an interior rear-view mirror, two electric exterior rear-view mirrors with wide-angle double mirrors, 5 emergency stops, 2 of which are in the cab, a window-breaker hammer and a fire extinguisher.

• You don't have to move your arm: the advancement is by continuous pushing or pressure.

• The main functions are controlled from the joystick.

JOB MONITOR

• For each job carried out using the OPTIMUM Multifunction tools, you can export a report on the work done, per plot, using a QR code.

• If the harvesting head is equipped with the weighing option, the weight harvested appears automatically on this report.

DRIVER/OPERATOR-ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS AT YOUR SERVICE

OPTIMUM is designed down to the last detail to offer you maximum ease and efficiency at work. Its numerous assistance systems facilitate its use, both in terms of driving and harvesting: you will soon wonder how you ever managed without them!

AUTOMATIC PARKING BRAKE

The parking brake automatically activates when OPTIMUM is stopped, then deactivates as soon as the operator tilts the joystick to move.

HIGH-DEFINITION CAMERA DISPLAY*

The cameras display, independent of the control console, can show the views of up to 4 cameras simultaneously. The reversing camera activates automatically in reverse.

INCLINOMETER

On sloping terrain, if the tilt of the machine becomes dangerous and is not corrected with the joystick, the inclinometer will automatically level the machine.

REVERSING LIGHT

A work light, positioned next to the rear-view camera, is switched on automatically in reverse.

CRUISE CONTROL

The limiter is activated and deactivated simply by tilting the joystick to the right. It also allows you to increase or decrease your chosen speed.

HEADLAND BRAKE*

This specific braking system blocks the inside rear wheel when cornering in order to maintain optimum grip in difficult headlands.

ACTIV’ ROW TRACKING

Two position sensors automatically align the harvesting head in the row. A direction indicator appears when the cylinders reach their stops.

HEIGHT SENSORS*

The sensors provide information on the height of the harvesting head. With the ground tracking system*, the machine automatically adjusts its height to harvest as closely as possible to the ground.

LOWER STOP

As soon as the shaking is started, the machine will automatically lower to the programmed harvest height.

HEADLAND HEIGHT STOP

In the headland, as soon as the shaking is stopped, the machine raises up to the programmed height.

AUTOMATIC BIN LOWERING

A single click initiates the operation.

ROAD MODE

It raises the machine up to the regulatory height and switch the rotating beacon lights on to travel on the road.

PINCH

The distance between the shakers can be adjusted directly on EASY TOUCH, even while working.

BINS LEVEL*

The bins filling level is displayed permanently on EASY TOUCH.

GROUPED CONTROLS

The switching on and off of all harvesting head functions are controlled by a single button on the joystick.

EASY POWER SYSTEM

• The intelligent EASY POWER system automatically adapts the engine speed to the needs of the tools and the carrier. It ensures minimum fuel consumption at work.

• The engine can work at very low speeds, from 1,600 rpm, depending on the tools.

ECO MODE

• ECO mode makes the management of the engine's power more fluid, which increases less quickly and revs less often. This saves you up to 10% more fuel.

NEW TRANSMISSIONS

• They allow you to reduce your fuel consumption, thanks to an engine speed on the road of only 1,600 rpm* at 25 km/h.

TPI 2 CONTINUOUS ALL-WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION

• Installed as standard on the entire OPTIMUM range, the TPI AWD system pushes the limits of grip: you can work calmly and safely, even in the most difficult conditions.

• The oil flow is precisely controlled for each of the wheels, depending on the requested speed and the turning angle.

• In the event of loss of grip, the distribution of the oil flow is maintained: no wheel can accelerate, slow down or slip.

• In the headlands, the AWD takes into account the turning angle to adjust the flow required for each wheel.

OPTIMISED SHAKING

New harvesting arms, new trays... you get the benefit of the latest advances in PELLENC technology. The motion kinematics of the shakers have been completely reworked by the PELLENC design team. The frequency and amplitude of shaking have been reduced, while maintaining optimum harvest quality. Get the maximum benefit in all conditions.

NEW SCALES SHAPE

INSTANT CONFIGURATION FROM THE CAB

• All your settings (clamping + frequency + amplitude*) are configured from the cab*, instantly and continuously, without stopping the harvesting machine.

HARVEST LOW HANGING GRAPE BUNCHES

• The spacing between the lower shakers is reduced. The grape bunches with no plant support are picked more efficiently without increasing the frequency of shaking.

• The lowest shaker is positioned as close as possible to the scales for optimal collection.

A UNIQUE AND REVOLUTIONARY HARVESTING PROCESS

Years of work by your side, including improvements and innovations, enabled us to design this latest generation of our harvesting machine.

FLEXIBLE SORTING CONVEYOR

• The innovative design of the flexible sorting conveyor allows sorting to begin as soon as the grapes fall, giving you up to 5% more harvest: only 30% of the harvest passes under the lower suction fans.

• The screen design ensures a high conveying capacity: the speed of the conveyors is halved compared to a larger conventional belt.

• A ram scraper removes foreign bodies.

• The conveyor sprocket drive prevents slippage and does not require re-centring.

• The design allows for quick and easy washing: no hard-to-get-at corners.

• After harvest, the conveyors remain in the picking head. There is no need to remove them. This is saving time and storage space.

• If the ACTIV ’cylinders come to a stop, direction correction indications are provided on EASY TOUCH.

THE HIGH-PERFORMANCE HARVEST SORTER

The system makes it possible to separate and eliminate the leaves from the harvest.

• The juice and destemmed berries pass directly through the slotted conveyor.

• No loss of juice.

• The suction fan removes only the leaves remaining on the conveyor.

LARGE CAPACITY BINS

Their large volume, up to 4,000 litres*, means they can be emptied less often. You stay operational longer and gain in productivity.

• The level of the bins* is permanently displayed on EASY TOUCH, allowing you to better manage the work. When the bin is 90% full, the rotating beacon lights switch on. The bin level sensors are present as standard on harvesting heads equipped with SELECTIV ’PROCESS.

• The stainless steel distributing auger improves harvest distribution in the bins and optimises their capacity. The rotational direction of the screws* can be adjusted on EASY TOUCH.

• The height of the distributing auger adjusts automatically as the bin fills without penalising emptying operations.

SELECTIV’PROCESS 2*

AN UNRIVALLED DESTEMMING AND SORTING SYSTEM

In 2007 PELLENC invented the first ever on-board 2-in-1 destemming and sorting system. Since then, SELECTIV’ PROCESS has been continuously improved, and is now the most efficient system on the market. Equipping our most sophisticated models, this system offers you unrivalled sorting quality. Its productivity is optimal, even in high-yielding vineyards. Thanks to it, your harvest is fed directly into your tanks without the need for another operation.

HIGH-FREQUENCY LINEAR DESTEMMER

• It destems the berries gently, without wastage, even with difficult grape varieties.

• The frequency can be adjusted from the EASY TOUCH screen.

• Its 5 pairs of long fingers achieve flow rates of up to 50 tonnes per hectare at 4.5 km/h.

SORTING TABLE WITH ADJUSTABLE SCREENS AND ROLLERS

• Quickly adjusts to all grape varieties and all working conditions.

• Its 2.50 m2 sorting surface is unmatched on the market and guarantees a high working speed.

• The solid notched feeding rollers route leaf stems to the sorting rollers.

• The screen rollers allow the sorted berries to pass through and remove the leaf stems and other waste from the sorting table. 100% of leaves are removed as well as 95% of leaf stems.

• The capacity of the bins is entirely preserved, the sorting table being located above them.

• System can be disengaged in 1 click from the cab to facilitate washing.

• The linear destemmer is equipped with an anti-jam sensor. *Depending

DYNAMIC ON-BOARD WEIGHING*

The harvested grapes are weighed continuously and in real time. The system ensures accurate measurement of the harvest in the bins without affecting the capacity or the flow of grapes. The high productivity of the machine is therefore maintained.

The display of weighing information on the in-cab console allows the driver to accurately monitor:

• The weight of the grapes present in the bins at any given moment.

• The quantity harvested and the average yield per hectare (since the start of the console's hectare counter(s))

• The remaining quantity to be harvested in relation to a quota defined from the machine's console.

OPTIMISED MANAGEMENT OF CELLAR HARVEST CONTRIBUTIONS

It measures the weight of the grapes in the bins in real time and the associated alert system guides the driver. The user is assured of harvesting the quantity required to fill the presses/tanks or to reach the quota set by the cooperative winery, without exceeding it. He can set up to 2 harvest quantity alerts and be notified as soon as:

• the maximum permissible weight of the vehicle transporting the grapes has been reached

• the daily quota is harvested

HEIGHTENED PRECISION, IN ALL TERRAIN CONDITIONS

The DYNAMIC weighing system is designed for a high level of accuracy, even when working on uneven ground or steep slopes. When stationary, before emptying the skips, the machine does not need to be on level and even ground to provide accurate weighing.

EXPORT OF WEIGHING TICKETS

The driver can generate and export weighing tickets compiling either:

• The weight currently in the bins

• All the data from the hectare counter

Used on its own, the DYNAMIC weighing option lets you monitor your harvest directly from the control console of your OPTIMUM or GRAPES'LINE harvesting machine.

With the PREMIUM weighing and telemetry options, you can monitor the harvest from the PELLENC CONNECT platform and produce yield maps.

HMI weighing information
Each of the bins is equipped with 4 weighing sensors, which are very hard-wearing and fully integrated into the harvesting head.

QUICK WASHING OF THE HARVESTING HEAD

The accessibility-friendly design allows for record washing time: 20 min with the harvest sorter.

• The washing mode is simply selected from the EASY TOUCH touchscreen.

• The washing is done from a large, secure work platform*, where you have everything at hand: the remote controls, the washing hose and an emergency stop.

• The washing platform has its own retractable access ladder.

• Automatic centring system between the vines thanks to the 2 probes located in front of the tools (width adjustment to adapt to different plantation widths).

• To facilitate the resumption of work in the rows, the arms are re-centred behind the carrier: you move on to the next row with perfectly aligned tools.

• Each arm automatically maintains the working height thanks to the ground probes: this facilitates working on slopes.

• The hydraulic distributors on each arm allow the supply of a "follow-up" cylinder. It raises the rear tool when the arm is raised: the required headland turning space is thus greatly reduced.

SOFT TOUCH 2 LEAF REMOVER

QUALITY WORK, AS IF DONE BY HAND

The PELLENC SOFT TOUCH 2 leaf remover gives you a perfect result: the work is done cleanly, evenly, as if by hand. Automatic row tracking ensures a constant leaf removal rate and total respect for the grapes. Highly efficient, SOFT TOUCH 2 is also simple in design: it is easy to handle and requires little maintenance.

OPERATION OF THE LEAF REMOVING MODULE

The leaves are sucked in through the striations of the suction roller, which catches the leaves, in addition to the feeder roller rotating in the opposite direction. The wide suction area ensures a uniform leaf removal rate over the entire height of the roller without loss of working height.

At the rear, a rotating brush cleans the 2 rollers to limit the deposits of plant debris and ejects the whole leaves, without projection, towards the ground (fall by gravity). This system limits the clogging of the turbine, which does not remove the leaves.

SOFT TOUCH 2 SYSTEM

It allows automatic row tracking. The suction module is automatically aligned to the plant foliage surface: it moves towards and away according to the pressure applied to the sensor. The joystick has on override control, so the operator can take over when there is no vegetation.

The SOFT TOUCH 2 system ensures:

• A constant leaf-removal rate (an unbroken swath of leaves on the ground).

• Complete protection of the grape thanks to the responsiveness of the system.

These panels, available as an option on the 3-row boom of the EOLE 2000/3000, are the solution proposed by PELLENC to limit drift during the initial treatments. They save on product losses thanks to the integrated recovery system. Installation is quick and easy, and can be carried out alone by just one person.

WARRANTY

PELLENC offers a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, parts and labour (excluding wear parts) on your batterypowered machines, equipment and tools. An extended warranty of up to 5 years, depending on the product, can be offered in addition to the manufacturer's warranty.

Implementation of the warranty is subject to the use of certified original PELLENC parts when carrying out maintenance of the equipment and compliance with PELLENC's maintenance recommendations.
