Business Disposals Maximising returns for our clients
We take time to understand your business Deciding to sell your company is likely to be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. The process of selling can be emotionally demanding, stressful and time consuming, so it helps to have a structured and controlled process. Maximising the value In general, a trade sale will maximise the realised value of a business. The sale process is specifically designed and tailored to maximise the value to shareholders on the sale of their business. Key points in the process that achieve this are: ▪▪ Selling the business at the right time ▪▪ Identifying issues that might reduce value in advance ▪▪ Identifiying buyers who have a strategic interest in buying the business ▪▪ Putting buyers into a competitive process
How we can help The process of selling a business will typically take six to twelve months. Our team will support you by taking time to build up a working knowledge of your business and ensure selling documentation is properly prepared. We will research and prequalify credible buyers, personally contacting senior directors in the target company and obtaining signatures on a confidentiality agreement. All meetings with a prospective buyer are attended by us and we will help to assess any offers. Finally, we manage and support the due diligence and legal processes once Heads of Terms have been signed - the critical stage at which many deals can fail. We are able to deliver decades of experience of working on a broad range of company sale transactions. A sample of our recent experience includes: ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪ ▪▪
