Lactation Program Enhancements

Congratulations are in order for the team on Cupp 5, who won PPMC’s Gift of Life Departmental Challenge. This event was part of a five-month long initiative designed to raise awareness and increase donor registration across the state of Pennsylvania. The PPMC Donate Life Planning Committee thanks all departments and staff that participated in the challenge, including the departments which hosted many Home Cook Hero meals at the Family House. Neuro ICU staff members participated in the Gift of Life Home Cook Heroes program on August 10, when they got together to provide and serve dinner to transplant patients and their families at the Gift of Life Family House. Helping out as Home Cook Heroes is a great way for your team to pull together and help others who are going through a difficult time away from home. PPMC has had several teams volunteer as Home Cook Heroes recently. Many thanks to all who dedicate their time and effort to cook a meal for Family House residents. Providing a meal affords them the opportunity to eat, spend time with others, and find comfort in a pleasant setting. For more information on how your team can volunteer to be Home Cook Heroes, please visit the Presby Bulletin online.
