Welcome to Pennycress Photography At Pennycress we are specialists in maternity, newborn and baby photography. We aim to provide a relaxed, bespoke experience totally different to the usual high street photography experience. A whole day is allocated for your newborn session and everything is baby led, nothing is rushed and safety and comfort of your little one is never compromised.
Vicki is one of the leading newborn photographers in the UK, and has completed over 250 newborn sessions. Her work has been featured in many publications and since 2011 she has been training professional photographers from all over the world in the art of posing newborn babies in a safe and calm manner. Vicki is a qualified member of The Guild of Professional Photographers. She is on the panel for, and a member of BANP (British Association of Newborn Photographers) and has won many awards for her work with newborn babies. Vicki is fully insured, has a full enhanced CRB and has completed a 12 hour pediatric first aid course.
The Pennycress Photography Experience In June 2012 Pennycress moved to a wonderful studio space within the gorgeous Ketteringham Hall. It is a beautiful and historic building set in stunning grounds and we are delighted to be able to offer our clients this amazing experience as part of their visit here. The Pennycress Studio itself is within the main building and has a beautiful outlook through double doors onto the balcony. It is set-up to cater to every need of both your baby and yourselves as parents, allowing you a truly relaxing and enjoyable time with us. The picturesque grounds that surround the studio make an ideal and unique backdrop for both Family and Maternity Lifestyle Portrait sessions.
Your Pennycress Custom Photography Session includes: • Up to 4 hours of coverage for newborns and up to 2 hours for maternity, cake smash and family sessions. • Photographer’s time, talent and use of Pennycress props and accessories as required • Custom processing of a selection of 15-30 images, including a selection of color and black & white • A Facebook sneaky peek of a watermarked image • One custom ordering and product advice session If you would like to consider Pennycress for your portrait session then please do not hesitate to get in touch and arrange to come along and meet Vicki at the studio and find out more. Session fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and a £40 booking fee is due at the time of booking, (deducted from your session fee). Cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to your session and will be applied to a future date.
Newborn/Baby Session | £75 Newborn sessions need to be held within the first 10 days after birth. In these first days not only does your baby have that true newborn look but they are mostly very sleepy and still curly from being in the womb. This means we can get some wonderful poses while they are dreaming away. Because of this narrow window of opportunity please book your session as far ahead as you can, ideally at least 3 months in advance of your due date. Once you have a slot booked in then we can alter your session if little one is early or late. Sessions are typically held at the studio, where I have everything we need. My aim is for this to be an informal, relaxed experience, you will need to allow 4 hours for the session.
Maternity Session | £75 Pregnancy can be a magical time and pregnant women are beautiful, so why not capture this time and preserve the memories.
Bump to Baby Session | £125 Book a maternity session and a newborn session together and save £15
A maternity session does not have to be about ‘getting your bump out’ - I will work with you to get images you are comfortable and happy with. Sessions are ideally held at around 35 weeks, if you leave it too late you will feel tired, uncomfortable and we run the risk of baby arriving before we have captured the bump! Partners and any big brothers or sisters of the bump are more than welcome to join in with the session too. In terms of what to wear it really is up to you - this is your session, so wear something fabulous! Anything that will enhance your beautiful bump and make you look and feel wonderful is perfect! If in doubt bring a selection and I will help you choose.
Family, Child or Individual Portrait Session | £65 Capture your children and the whole family in a relaxed outdoor setting: the studio is set in gorgeous grounds, great for exploring! You are welcome to bring along any props such as favourite toys or items from the family that hold some meaning. Perhaps you could have a lifestyle shoot of the family having a summer picnic, bug hunting in the woods or kicking autumn leaves. At any session I will spend time with your little ones getting to know them so that they feel comfortable and we can get the very best images. The grounds are also perfect for a teenage portrait session or couple’s shoot too!
The Cake Smash Package | £195 The perfect idea for 1st or 2nd Birthdays! This package includes: • Up to 2 hours for the session with multiple outfit changes • A giant cupcake • A gorgeous mini album containing your favourite images from the session • 3 web ready images for sharing online
