Castlegar Hosts 2014 - 2015 Female Bantam Hockey Provincial Championships!

Girls aged 13 (grade eight) and 14 (grade nine) along with their families will soon be arriving from all over the province to attend and compete in this year’s Female Bantam Hockey Provincial Championships. Our West Kootenay Wildcats team is comprised of girls from the communities of Kaslo, Nelson, Castlegar, Fruitvale, Trail, Rossland and Grand Forks.

The championship games begin Sunday, March 15 with the opening ceremonies and banquet dinner on the evening of the 15th. Games then continue during the week with the championship game on the final day, Thursday, March 19 at 8 pm.

A team ambassador is assigned to each visiting team.

This representative will attend each of their games (one per day) and provide participants with community info, things to go and do, directions, good places to eat, and may even invite them for dinner.
