LET’S GO TO THE FAIR! Fall is a beautiful time to get out and explore our West Kootenay towns and valleys. The air is cool and fresh and the colours are stunning. And it’s harvest time, so there is a fall fair to visit every weekend. Enjoy the bounty – we have so much to be thankful for!

Friday, Sept 6 2 – 9pm Saturday, Sept 7 9am – 5pm Creston District Community Complex

Saturday, Sept 7, 11am – 5pm Rossland Arena, 3rd Ave & Spokane St

www.crestonvalleyfair.com $5 adults, $3 seniors/children, 5 and under free. An old fashioned agricultural fair with a tradition spanning over a century! Live local entertainment 2-9pm Friday & 10am-5pm on Saturday. The Welcoming & O Canada is at 6:30pm Friday evening, the awards ceremony at 4:30pm on Saturday. Friday & Saturday: milking demonstrations, 4-H showmanship classes, auction, antique tractor display – be sure to vote for the People’s Choice award. Saturday morning: Farmer’s Market and Lions Club pancake breakfast. Creative Monkeys offer impromptu shows throughout the fair as well as a stage show on Saturday afternoon at 2pm. Children’s pedal tractor pull happens Saturday afternoon as well.

www.rosslandfallfair.ca The Rossland Fall Fair on Saturday is an integral part of the weekend-long Golden City Days celebrations. The Fair features craft and market vendors, a petting zoo, fish pond, and live music and entertainment. Come and enjoy Rossland’s incomparable mountain culture and join in for this last hurrah of summer.
