Election day 2012 made some people very happy, while others were very sad, or downright angry. Whatever the case, it is time to move on. There’s no need to fret, cast further dispersions or act a fool. Instead, now is the time to think of the greater good. Is the greater good served by being disrespectful, failing to work together and tearing down your “opponent?” Cheryl Smith Just like the losers have to eat the humble pie and move on--possibly preparing for their next race, the victors must be gracious in defeat -regardless of what went down during the campaign season. America is hurting and it won’t get better if we have to continue with the counterproductive, self-destructive behavior as witnessed by some who are considered to be influential and powerful. Recently a mother in Frisco, Texas wrote about how her child was treated the day after election day. In addition to his teacher coming to school and warning students that she didn’t want to hear anything about the election, there were the disparaging comments from fellow students. The mother wrote: “Here are some of things my son was told by 5th grade classmates: -don't talk to me about Obama winning -I don't care if he won, we wi" just get him impeached -country wi" go broke now that he was re-elected -my parents wi" have to pay for sick black ppl to go to doctor -he's a Muslim and likes terrorists” Clearly these young children are being influenced by their parents, and a strong message needs to be sent to the parents. They need to understand that they are responsible for shaping the minds of future leaders, thus making their negative comments even more unsettling. These parents should want to leave this world in a better state but you wouldn’t believe that was their goal, based on how they are raising their children. While the Internet has been a great tool and is credited by many with leading then-Senator Barack Obama to a victory in 2008; clearly it has also been a tool for cowardly acts. Some might say the acts actually wreak of treason, but for some reason, folks are able to use social media networks to make disparaging and inflammatory statements that surely would have landed them behind bars or facing some type of investigation or probe. Folks are hiding behind assumed names and saying some of the most offensive, and yes, racist things. Gone are the days of people having to back up what they say. Instead they can be the biggest of bullies and never leave the privacy of their homes. Anytime anyone mentions anything related to physical contact with the President of these United States, their behinds need to be called out and also hauled in for questioning. Not that any of these brilliant minds are going to have anything of substance to say -- except to hide behind the First Amendment and professing their need for Freedom of Speech. Still they need to also understand that they will be held accountable for their actions. And those who remain silent and let these atrocities continue. Well, you will have to be held accountable for your inactions. Some groups are already looking ahead to the next election. In the meantime and the between time. there is work to do. Voters need to send a message to their elected officials. Let them know that every dog has his day and there’s no time to be petty, condescending and ornery. Don’t applaud the childish behavior that was witnessed across this country. Don’t vote for people who spew that divisive “my party is better and smarter than yours” rhetoric. Right now stupidity is running rampant. Let’s get back on course and do what is best for this country!
P.S. Support the Red Cross and let’s continue to pray for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy! !

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT... America is dealing with several crises and Dr. Steve Perry is doing great things for our young men on TV One’s hit show, “Save My Son.”
Dr. Steve Perry
Sure he’s been focusing on running schools and that is where many first heard of him as “America’s Most Wanted Educator.”
The founder of Capital Preparatory Magnet School and CNN Education Contributor, Dr. Perry is also the author of the bestselling “Push Has Come to Shove.” If you want to find out what’s wrong with our schools, you need to read what this educator has to say about what “steps need to be taken to ensure that all schools, whether urban or suburban, deliver a first rate education to our children.” If anyone knows what to do, it has to be Dr. Perry. Among his many accomplishments, the nononsense, no excuses Dr. Perry established Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut’s lowest performing district and he proudly notes that since the inception of the school, 100% of its graduates go on to four-year colleges. If that fact alone is not impressive enough, prior to establishing the magnet school, his program ConnCAP, for six years prior sent 100% of its low-income, first generation graduates to fouryear colleges. The man is doing something right and for a glimpse at what makes him so successful, you have to check out TV One to see him in action on “Save My Son.” While he is dealing with specific family situations, so many families can benefit from his expertise. Many of the issues are ones we have heard about or dealt with in our own families so Dr. Perry is helping more than just a specific week’s family. He cares and it shows as he candidly deals with the entire family in his efforts to save young men. Much of the blame for our sons’ behavior can be placed solely on the shoulders of parents and adults, notes Dr. Perry. “An overwhelming majority (of young black boys) feel like they don’t belong to anybody,” said Dr. Perry, adding that he viewed the show as a “call to action.” The sons are in gangs, abusive to their mothers, getting high, looking for love, and possibly headed for disaster, prison or death. The pain the parents, especially the mothers, are feeling is contagious. Dr. Perry works at helping and healing the entire family. Accountability is key! Thanks to Dr. Perry some young men are getting a chance to turn their lives around and that will help make this world a better place. We need more Dr. Steve Perry’s on the scene, challenging our youth to be the best that they can be, while also holding out parents and adults accountable. If not us, who? Let’s save our sons, and we can change the world! WHO: Dr. Steve Perry WHAT: TV One’s Save My Son WHEN: Wednesdays, 9/8c WHERE: TV One PAGE 5

CURRY: Obama should thank Jesse Jackson President Obama’s campaign strategists are receiving a lot of richly deserved praise in the wake of the president’s victory over George E. Curry former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney on Nov. 6. Obama, who lost the majority of the White vote for the second time, won the election by assembling a progressive Democratic coalition pioneered by Jesse Jackson in 1984 and 1988. I covered Jackson’s 1984 campaign for the Chicago Tribune and witnessed Jackson laying the groundwork for what would become two Obama victories. “America is not like a blanket – one piece of unbroken cloth, the same color, the same texture, the same size,” I heard Jesse Jackson say more times than I care to remember. “America is more like a quilt: many patches, many pieces, many colors, many sizes, all woven and held together by a common thread. uently expressed in terms of a rainbow. The organization Jackson heads is known as Rainbow PUSH, the result of a merger between Operation PUSH, the organization Jackson created in 1971, and the Rainbow Coalition, an apparatus he developed following his 1984 presidential run. In his stirring speech at the 1984 National Democratic Convention in San Francisco, Jackson spoke at length about the Rainbow Coalition. “…We cannot be satisfied by just restoring the old coalition,” he said. “Old wine skins must make room for new wine. We must heal and expand. The Rainbow Coalition is making room for Arab Americans…The Rainbow Coalition is making room for Hispanic Americans…The Rainbow is making room for the Native American…The Rainbow Coalition includes Asian Americans… The Rainbow Coalition is making room for the young Americans…The Rainbow includes disabled veterans…
year, down just one percentage point from four years ago. They supported Obama at even higher rates in the swing states of Ohio, Wisconsin and Nevada. Despite Jackson’s early coalitionbuilding efforts, it’s no secret that relations between Obama and Jackson are as chilly as the temperature was on the day Obama was first inaugurated as president. The friction was exacerbated in July 2008 after Jackson had been interviewed on Fox News. When the television interview was over, Jackson, apparently unaware that his microphone was still live, told a fellow guest: “See, Barack’s been talking down to Black people…I want to cut his nuts off.” Not surprisingly, the relationship between the two immediately went south, so to speak. An understandably miffed Barack Obama has since kept his distance from Jackson. But as Obama reaches out to Republicans whose stated goal was to make sure he didn’t get re-elected, perhaps it’s time for Obama to have détente with Jackson. The legendary civil rights leader has done his penitence. Because of what Jackson later described as his “crude and hurtful” comment – made at a time African-Americans were hoping to elect their first Black president – many Blacks mentally shipped Jackson off to a political Siberia, a never-never land where they didn’t care if he was never heard from again. As Obama extends the olive branch to his ardent political foes, he should invite Jackson to visit him in the White House. If nothing else, President Obama can thank Jesse Jackson for paving the way for his two memorable victories.
The Rainbow is making room for small farmers…The Rainbow includes lesbians and gays.” According to exit polls, Romney won the White vote 59 percent to 39 percent for Obama, which was 3 percent lower than the president’s 2008 outing. Like Clinton before him, Obama demonstrated that a candidate for national office does not need a majority of the White vote in order to win. Blacks, who made up 13 percent of the electorate in 2012, favored Obama over Romney 93 percent to 6 percent. Latinos, who made up 10 percent of the electorate, preferred Obama by a margin of 71 percent to 27 percent. Asians, 3 percent of the electorate, supported Obama over Romney 73 percent to 26 percent. The remaining non-White groups, with 2 percent of the electorate, backed Obama by a margin of 58 percent to 38 percent. Obama won the 18-24 category – 11 percent of the electorate – 60 percent to 36 percent for Romney. He also won the 25-29 age-group, which is 8 percent of voters, 60 percent to 38 percent. Those describing themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual – 5 percent of voters – favored Obama over Romney 76 percent to 22 percent, compared with straight voters – 95 percent of the electorate – who were evenly divided, with Obama and Romney each receiving 49 percent. Fifty-eight percent of union households – 18 percent of the electorate – supported Obama this

Have Confidence in Your Righteousness in Him By Donald Lee Hello, my friends. I am truly excited that the Lord has called me to be a messenger of H i s Wo r d , another voice crying out in the wilderness to “prepare, ye, the way of the Lord.” I am thoroughly convinced that the greatest pleasure in this galaxy, in addition to crowning Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, is leading others to Him and being used of the Lord to preach the Kingdom to them. Our Lord and Savior is soon to return. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance and with the greatest sense of urgency that we, children of God via the Blood of the Lamb, Christ Jesus, come into a complete understanding of who we are in Him and what our assignment is. We must, as a body of believers, know beyond any shadow of doubt, that we are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. We do not operate in our own righteousness, but in our heavenly Father’s righteousness. And to be righteous is to be in right standing with the Lord. It means we
have accepted His way as being “right.” There is no righteousness outside of Him. But in Him, we are witness bearers of the Light of the world. He is the true Light that we, as saints of God, bear witness of. And with that, He has also mandated us to let the Light in us shine so brightly that others are drawn to Him. So, we have a great calling, the greatest assignment that anyone in this universe can have, which brings us to the point the Holy Spirit wants us to get, and then flow with. The Holy Spirit is telling us: “Have Confidence in Your Righteousness in Him.” It is imperative that you — that we — are confident in who we are in Him and what He’s called us to be and to do here in the earth. Many souls are hanging in the balance. They must hear the message of salvation; they must be taught the ways of the kingdom; they must see a move of God in their lives as He moves in us. And in order for us to be efficient in getting our Savior’s message across to those souls all across the world, we must walk in the righteousness of God, and we must be confident in our “calling” to be ambassadors of His kingdom established here in the earth. In other words, we — the saints of God — must operate in our positions with authority, exercising great power and doing so with great confidence. When
we do this, our confidence will win those souls over to the Lord. All of this having been said, please turn your Bibles to the book of Hebrews, the 10th chapter and the 35th verse. Here we see Paul, the Apostle, addressing the Hebrews in his epistle, or letter. He is encouraging them to hold on to their confidence. (King James Version) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (Amplified Bible) Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. As the Spirit of the Lord stated moments ago, to be a messenger of the Lord is a great calling, a huge assignment, one that comes with great responsibility. It is one that also comes with great obstacles. Our chief purpose in life, after getting saved, is leading others to Christ. There are many who don’t want to hear the truth, and not only that, (but) they don’t want you to share the truth with others who seek the truth. Hence, persecution comes; trials and tribulations come; a strong “feeling” or temptation to lose heart or to give up arises. So, we must, as Paul beseeches, hold steadfast to our confidence. We must not cast aside our confidence in our assignment; we must not cast aside our confidence that we are the
righteousness of God and that we did hear from God each time we go out and share the message of the cross with others. And when we are steadfast on our faith and holding ever so tightly to our “confidence,” we are most effective, and the bonus of it all is that God has laid up for us a great reward for our diligence in kingdom matters. Additional scriptures to study include: John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: First Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. Dallas Chapter of The Links, Inc. launches FirstLocal STEM Academy for female students
– The Dallas Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is partnering with the SMU Bobby B. Lyle School of E n g i n e e r i n g ’s H a r t C e n t e r f o r Engineering Leadership to launch a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) academy aimed at reducing the “STEM gap” among female African American students. The new “STEM–ulating Left Brain and Right Brain” program targets students in grades 6-12 in the Dallas metro area. The STEM Academy, a series of academic explorations, kicked off Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Doubletree Campbell Centre with participants and their families and community partners joining Dallas Chapter members to
celebrate the commencement of The STEM Academy. Additionally, United States Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson addressed the group and discussed the National STEM Initiative. The first STEM Academy session premiered Saturday, Nov. 10, at Caruth Hall on the SMU campus. The first session will focus on robotics and PH testing, introducing the concepts of electrical engineering, coding, and computer science to the students as well as demonstrating practical applications for chemistry. Subsequent STEM Academy programs include: Jan. 26, 2013 – STEM Careers and Role Models Feb. 9, 2013 – Aviation April 27, 2013 – Global Information Technology May 18, 2013 – Rockets SMU’s Lyle School and the Dallas Chapter of Links, Incorporated and are committed to increasing STEM readiness by providing student participants with the knowledge, skills
and abilities required to pursue STEM degree programs. Both are working to make STEM-related internships, fellowships and career opportunities accessible to all students so they can compete in the global workforce. The Hart Center supports the development of Lyle students by encouraging them to take the lead on important issues and
to solve big problems such as the lack of minorities in STEM careers. 50 DISD students have been enrolled for the long-term program, which incorporates short and long-term goals with measurable short-term outcomes. The program will also focus on sustainable immediate outcomes along with long-term measurable outcomes. The Dallas Chapter has an official relationship with DISD as a volunteer
partner that will allow chapter representatives to communicate with principals and other administrators and share academic data. Congresswoman Johnson, chair of the National STEM Career Readiness Initiative for The Links Incorporated, and a passionate voice for the need of extracurricular programming for the future scientists, engineers and mathematicians, said, “The number of students of color in STEM related careers is significantly low due to a lack of access to sufficient STEM education. Our STEM–ulating Left Brain and Right Brain program helps to fill that void by providing students with opportunities to be exposed to and readied for STEM – related careers.” Jennifer Kristin Fugate, one of the Lyle student organizers, said she would have enjoyed and learned from the opportunity to “hang out” with collegeage role models when she was in middle school. “I believe that our impact on these girls will be tremendous and life-changing, because they will see how cool and exciting it is to be an engineer and will want to be just like us when they grow up.” Fugate said.

South Dallas Church to install first woman senior pastor, 142 Years Later Rev. Irie Lynne Session, the former associate minister for The North Texas Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest, will be installed next month as senior pastor at Warren Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), making her the first woman to hold the job in the African-American church’s 142 year history. “I am excited that the congregation took that leap of faith. Because I know there are people who have issues and concerns with the fact that I am a woman. The responsibility is to be the best preacher and pastor that I can be,” said Rev. Session, 53, who holds a doctorate of ministry in Transformative Leadership and Prophetic Preaching from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York. She plans to help the church, located in South Dallas, clarify its mission, develop its spirituality and to “preach the good news of Jesus Christ.”The

church, located at 2431 Warren Ave., will install her at 3 p.m. Dec. 1. Rev. Session was hired as senior pastor, after 86% of the congregation voted Aug. 19 to call her, said Marilyn Calhoun, pastor installation chair.“It's that old African-American value that a male is the only one that can be in that position. It has been a challenge to get equality for women,” said Calhoun, a deacon at the church. “It also signifies breaking the barriers for other denominations to come behind us.” Rev. Session said she learned she had been hired during a conference call with
the search committee, chaired by Deacon Howard Coleman. Elder Bobby Williams told her, “Warren Avenue just made history, “said Rev. Session, who adds, she makes the ninth woman, and the only AfricanAmerican woman, to hold a senior pastor role in Dallas in the DOC. She preached her first sermon, “A Crazy Call” from Luke 5:27-32, at Warren Avenue Sept. 30, the day after resigning from The North Texas Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest.

In addition to pastoring Warren Avenue, Rev. Session is the advocate and spiritual support coordinator at New Friends New Life. The Dallas agency helps women, who have been trafficked, “leave prostitution,” said Session, who has worked there nine years. For six years Session pastored Rosemont Christian Center in Dallas and views herself as a “teaching preacher.” Rev. Patricia Maples is president of the National Convocation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), whose husband Claude was Warren Avenue’s interim pastor during the search. “I think it's a spiritual transformation. I feel that it's not just being the first woman pastor but being a spiritual leader that will move the church into the community,” said Rev. Patricia Maples. Rev. Lloyd Facen, Warren Avenue’s longtime senior pastor, died Dec. 20, 2010.

SKYFALL: Could this be Bond’s Best?
amille Bradfield By Jamille Bradfield I Messenger Film Critic and Entertainment Writer Bond. James Bond. These three simple words of dialogue have been synonymous with the world’s smoothest international spy since the character first came to life fifty years ago on the big screen in DR. NO. The often-imitated phrase rises to the occasion once again in the latest Bond movie — SKYFALL. Released in theaters nationwide in the U.S. on November 9, 2012, SKYFALL is Ian Fleming’s 23rd installment in what just might be the best James Bond flick in the franchise’s long-running history. The film had a record-breaking opening weekend in the U.S., grossing a whopping $87.8 million. Directed by Sam Mendes and written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, SKYFALL pays tribute to all things classic Agent 007. From the gripping action scenes to the seduction of the film’s head-turning “it” girl to the cameo appearance by Bond’s 1964 Aston Martin DB5 outfitted with machine guns, SKYFALL gives the audience everything it came for and then some. Not to mention, returning for his third appearance in the leading role, Daniel Craig, 44, is in a word: spectacular. The story opens with a thrilling, highspeed chase between Bond and an unidentified adversary, with 007’s partner, field agent Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) following closely. If there is to be any legitimate criticism of this film it could be argued that the third act was a tad bit too long, perhaps drawn out by what felt like extraneous action scenes at times. However, Mendes, an Academy-Award winner (Best Director, AMERICAN BEAUTY in 1999) does a tremendous job of bringing the screenplay to life visually while keeping viewers hooked to the plot and various twists and complications in the process. The Healthy Living with Diabetes Program is successful in decreasing diabetes complications by an average of 1.5 percent, which experts consider significant for improving quality of life. A recent study comparing patients with diabetes who participated in the program versus those who did not showed that the program saved Parkland more than $3,000 a year per patient by reducing the need for specialty clinic appointments and reducing inpatient acuity. Jardine adds that a nutritious diet is a great start to a healthier lifestyle and recommends the following: • Maximize highly nutritious foods that help with weight loss, turn off disease !
• Minimize or eliminate highly processed foods that are high in transfats and refined carbohydrates. • Avoid processed foods with added fat, sugar and salt. There have been some studies in the literature showing a plantbased diet (no animal products) can be highly therapeutic for diabetes. Parkland also implemented a Diabetes Chronic Care Model this year targeting high-risk patients with more focused managed care by the Transitional Care Unit (TCU) in collaboration with COPC Behavioral Health. The goal is to improve patient’s quality of life and reduce readmissions. !

Brenda Ellis featured at monthly event Recording artist, electrifying, incomparable life giving humble servant describes the life of Brenda Ellis, who will be featured at the next First Sunday on December 2, 2012 at Center City Grill in Arlington, Tx, 2p.m. She travels nationally and internationally to minister in conferences, churches, crusades, inner city outreaches, and prisons. Her ministry has extended extensively to London England, Belgium, Africa, Jamaica, South Africa, Johannesburg, Swaziland, Soweto and Bahamas. She also travels as a conference psalmist with Bishop TD Jakes ministries. In 2005 she toured the country with Bishop Jakes ministries promoting his book and CD, entitled: He Motions. She’s lead vocalist on several recording projects of the Potters House Church Choir, singing such songs as; Mercy Saw Me, It Shall Be Done, Jesus You’re Worthy To Be Praised, and Manifest. They were awarded, a Grammy Award, also a Stellar Award, Nominated for three Dove Awards, Grammy Award and NAACP Award. Their latest recording project Entitled; Live In Nairobi Kenya, singing; Praise Is Your Weapon,” which was awarded two Stellar Awards. In addition a lead role in the stage production entitled; The Living Cross that brought in audiences from around the world as far as Australia, Russia. The production consisted of a cast of 400 actors “36” performances, staged in Indiana. Most recently in May 2009 Brenda was the featured artist to sing at an “Affair To
Brenda Ellis Remember” with Keynote speaker, former First Lady Laura Bush. Brenda also is a “Philanthropist” she spends much of her time helping others in every conceivable way. Sharing some of what she has with others who are less fortunate than her. She’s a sponsor for “Love A Child” who feeds children in Haiti. She is also a sponsor for “International Fellowship Of Christians And Jews” and a sponsor for “Operation Smile” helping children who are in need of plastic surgery due to cleft lip and Palate.” She’s undertaking an endeavor to bring three Kenyan girls (living in poverty) from Africa (Nairobi) here to the USA, in which one of the young girls has already arrived, and is now attending college in Minneapolis Minnesota. There is uniqueness about her ministry that brings about a change in the lives of those who listens. God has placed an anointing upon her life that whenever she ministers in song, healings and deliverance is manifested. At an early age, Brenda had a speech impediment, she also had an abnormal growth in her throat and colon.
NOVEMBER 16, 2012
However, God took the impossible and made it possible. That is when God’s purpose for her life was revealed, she said. “God has a way of taking people who have been forsaken, and raising them up, so that the supernatural power of God might be revealed.” Brenda has a passion for ministering into the lives of singers. In 2006 God afforded her the opportunity to travel to her home away from home, London England where she spent an entire month ministering into the lives of many singers as well as the entire music department. She’s written a book: “The Heart Of A Psalmist,” as well as a Study Guide and Journal. The book and Journal is a tool as well as a guide for the entire music ministry. Brenda said, “God does not take a person’s individual worship and compare it with that of another person; however He measures your worship against the attitude of your heart.” She also said, “It’s our place as worshippers to storm the very gates of hell, regain the lost dominion, and stand in the place vacated by Lucifer’s fall leading the angelic hosts in everlasting praise, and worshipping our Most High God.” God is listening for a sound… Brenda has a degree as a Paralegal/ Investigator and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. She has worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, specializing in molestation cases of children. She has volunteered with the Crisis Pregnancy Ctr in Indiana, also Volunteered as a Big Sister for the Big Brother Big Sister Program for many years prior to moving to Texas in 1997.

New Breed of Beauty Supply opens in North Dallas to meet growing demand for products upply store has opened in North Dallas to service the growing number of African-American women wearing natural hair. Naturally Divine Beauty is a full-fledged beauty store supply and natural hair salon at 3556 Forest Lane in Dallas. It is the first of its kind in North Texas. “Natural hair is not a fad, it’s a choice,” said Audra Cooper, the owner of Naturally Divine Beauty. The popularity of natural hairstyles has spawned a crop of specialty beauty parlors throughout the region, and shifted the economic balance of the $185 million black hair-care market. Cooper moved the store to its new location from a kiosk at Grapevine Mills Malls after the space became too small
to handle the increase demand for products. The 1,500 square foot store and salon is a beauty boutique filled with carefully selected highend products made by African-American owned companies popping up to meet the high demands of natural products made specifically for natural hair. The salon offers an array of services including Twist Outs, Creative Cuts, Flat Irons, Blow outs and more! Naturally Divine has over 25 options of natural hair care and beauty products. Most products are sulfate-free, alcohol-
free, paraben-free, and free of harsh chemicals. Women with relaxed and naturally textured hair can use the products. Some of the product brands include, C a r o l ’s D a u g h t e r, Kinky Curly, Uncle Funky’s Daughter, Curly Junkie, Mixed Chicks and many more. Cooper has joined a growing number of African-American-owned companies catering to natural hair enthusiasts. Companies that once marketed exclusively to relaxed hair such as Proctor and Gamble, Revlon, L'Oreal,
etc. are creating new products to coincide with other independent companies that cater exclusively to natural and curly hair textures. L'Oreal Paris plans to build a 513,000 squarefoot regional distribution hub in Southern Dallas County. Naturally Divine Beauty has a calendar filled with unique natural hair events that include seminars, natural anniversaries-the celebration of the day you started your natural hair journey, and natural hair meet-ups. For more information call Audra Cooper at 214-350-4900 or log on to www.naturallydivinebeauty.com.
