Veterans' Housing Assistance-VASH

The Pensacola Housing administers and delivers the voucher assistance in partnership with Gulf Coast Health Care System Medical Center, which refers eligible HUD-VASH families to the Housing Office and provides them with case management and clinical services.

To participate in HUD-VASH, veterans must be currently homeless, eligible for VA medical care, and have an identified clinical need for case management Veterans in transitional housing or residential treatment programs may also be considered for admission.

Waterfront Mission

In the Mission’s Veteran’s Care Program, hundreds of homeless veterans each year work with a representative from the local VA to secure eligible benefits such as pension, housing, and medical assistance.

In partnership with the Veterans Employment and Training Services, Volunteers of America support Veterans in Cocoa and south Florida with training and employment.
