Penske Driver™ is a free app, providing drivers with the tools to complete their daily tasks. While in a Penske rental truck in the U.S. or Canada, drivers can use the app to stay compliant with the electronic logging device (ELD) mandate and electronically submit their driver trip report (eDTR).

Easily get started with Penske Driver
1. REGISTER YOUR COMPANY
Contact your Penske representative to request an account and activation code today or the next time you call to reserve a rental truck. If you are a Fleet Insight customer, your activation code is found on the Fleet Insight Overview page.
2. INSTRUCT DRIVERS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP
Drivers download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. They create an account using your company’s activation code.
3. MANAGE YOUR DRIVERS
Managing your drivers’ accounts is easy with Fleet Insight. Through Fleet Insight (and Driver Management), company administrators can:
• Add driver accounts manually, by bulk upload with an Excel file, or by sending an activation code to your drivers via SMS text or email
• Activate and deactivate driver accounts
• Control fuel location visibility for your drivers
• Add additional administrators to your company account
• Review, manage and suggest edits to the HOS logs submitted by your drivers
• Designate your company’s HOS settings to include your company’s USDOT number

Drivers can also use the Service Check-In feature, which allows them to check in for a service visit from the comfort of their vehicle. Lastly, drivers can find fueling and parking locations in the app as well, which makes it easy to plan their next stop.
