Ken Hermens
Petty Officer Edgar “Taff” Evans
Since his Pentacle debut in 1975's The Glass Menagerie, Ken has appeared in over 60 shows at Pentacle, most recently (and, as it turns out, ironically) in 2019's Dashing Through the Snow. Some favorite roles at Pentacle have included Martin Dysart in Equus, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Brother Boy in Sordid Lives. He has served several terms on Pentacle Theatre's Governing Board and has directed three Pentacle productions, including 2015's Chicago. In 1999, Ken was honored to receive the distinction of becoming a Pentacle Theatre Lifetime Member.

Ken has also appeared in other regional productions over the years, including playing the roles of Motel in Fiddler on the Roof at the Hult Center in Eugene and Victor Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein at Lakewood Theater in Lake Oswego. This one's for David!

Tim Jaeger
Roald Amundsen
Tim has appeared several times on the Pentacle stage over the past four decades most recently as Nunzio in Over the River and Through the Woods. He has acted extensively — about 100 shows in 25 theaters — mostly in Portland and Willamette Valley theaters. When not on stage, Tim acts in short films, commercials and industrial productions and does improv. When not performing, Tim enjoys time with his large and growing family and dear friends. He learned about "heroic gesture" from his father, the late great Donavon Jaeger.

Kaelyn Kappes
Kathleen Bruce Scott
Kaelyn is thrilled to be making her Pentacle Theatre debut. Prior to moving to Oregon last summer, she was enthusiastically involved with many productions at her alma mater, Muhlenberg College, including Mirage, Mr. Burns: A PostElectric Play, The Long Christmas Dinner, The Rising of the Moon and more. Outside of theater, Kaelyn works as an Assistant Director of Admission at Willamette University. She also loves to dance, hike, hang out with friends and visit her family back in San Diego. The support of her wonderful family, friends, and Willamette Admission colleagues cannot be understated — they're what bring her vibrant joy on and off the stage every day. She is immensely grateful to be part of this cast of gallant gentlemen and is endlessly thankful for the hard-working production crew, especially the incredibly dedicated Scott Ramp.

Robert previously performed in Pentacle’s production of Enchanted April. Other theater-related experience includes From Time to Time in 2018 from Trill Productions.
