People I’ve Loved is a few individuals longing for connection / a small printmaking workshop based out of Oakland, California.
We specialize in letterpressed and screen-printed objects, done by hand using traditional techniques and vintage presses. We focus on facilitating relationships, complex conversations and hope for the future.
People I’ve Loved’s works (or pressing issues) intend to facilitate the communication between real, tactile people. We are “in search of the miraculous” yet tragic definition of what it means to exist in this time and space, and feel that we should make time to share it .
People I’ve Loved takes leaps of faith into the unknown everyday.

And How. Whether letterpressed or screenprinted, our process begins with one or several ink drawings. Those illustrations are digitized and burned onto photopolymer plates and silk screens, then printed to make high-quality, handmade cards, prints, and home goods.
Our Products Starting with a small line of greeting cards, People I’ve Loved has grown to develop cards for all seasons and everyday, quirky and unique art prints, and housewares based on the type of stuff we’d like to have in our homes. We simply love making things, and most of the production is done in house.
We thoughtfully source our materials. All of our cards are printed on recycled stock, and our paper is all made in the United States. Our letterpress inks are eco-friendly, and we work with local companies for offsite production whenever possible.
Custom Work We also do custom design and letterpress printing for wedding invitations, business cards, save the dates, personal stationery and corporate projects such as logo design and custom product development. We love working on unique concepts and relish the opportunity to dream up new ideas for oneof-a-kind designs.
