CAMPUS LIVING
Campus Housing
The mission of the Office of Housing and Residence Life is to establish a community that fosters social, academic, and spiritual growth. As a result, all new students, including all transfer students, are required to live on campus and have a meal plan for four semesters. The only exception applies to spring transfer students who are required to live on campus for one semester (the spring term when they begin Pepperdine).
We believe the relationships and community built during these first years of attending Pepperdine are vital to the college experience. The Housing and Residence Life program provides an atmosphere that empowers students to make connections between faith, living, and learning within a diverse community.
Housing Portal
The Pepperdine University Housing Portal is a one-stop shop for students to apply for housing, search for and select roommates, enroll in a meal plan, and view their room assignments.
Admitted students should check their Pepperdine email accounts regularly during the summer for information on when the housing portal will open to them and important deadlines.

Campus Dining
The Waves Cafe is one of our three main dining facilities located on the first floor of the Tyler Campus Center (TCC). This state-of-the-art platform dining concept features restaurant-quality food. A beautiful 180-degree ocean view also gives this location a very special appeal. The Waves Cafe features four entrée stations serving a different freshly prepared item at each meal, an extensive salad bar, and gourmet soups and desserts. Vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary restricted items are offered for lunch and dinner, in addition to a pizza bar.
Our facilities also include Nature’s Edge, the HAWC Cafe, the Oasis —our new artisan “’za” and noodle bar—and Starbucks Coffee in the Payson Library. Meal plans can be purchased in a variety of ways.
