Education is for everyone. Accessibility, gender, race or any form of disability should not prevent any child from being able to attend school. Through Amira , readers from all backgrounds can gain an understanding of some of the challenges children with disabilities face. Amira’s story allows us to empathize with children in similar or worse situations, and learn to be more attentive to the needs of children with disabilities. The book aims to inspire, bring hope and spur action because education is inclusive.
