INTERNATIONAL GENEVA FOR PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS The Aarhus Convention by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) defines an inextricably link between environmental and human rights, helping to turn environmental democracy into a daily reality in almost 50 countries across the pan-European region.
The UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) offers programmes on anti-corruption for North Africa and the Sahel region to train individuals from government, civil society organizations and private sector on anti-corruption best practices, specifically with regard to coalition-building.
