CONSISTENCY AND CONFIDENCE

My Top 3 Tips To Master Consistency In Golf

The number one recommendation I have for you to be a consistent golfer is establishing a pre shot routine that looks and behaves the same every time. This approach ensures you prepare you body and mind for each swing in a consistent manner. Specifically focusing on alignment, grip and posture in every swing. By following the same set of actions before every swing, you create the two “C’s”; consistency and confidence.

The second most important factor is developing a repeatable swing. By focusing on fundamental principles and ingraining muscle memory through repetition you can develop a consistent swing that produces the shots you desire more often than not. I highly recommend you seek professional advice and get a clear understanding of what you should be practising or thinking about to hone that swing and get the results you want.

The third and final task to get the consistency of your dreams is mental resilience. Managing a positive mindset and emotions are key to playing the best 9 or 18 holes of your life. Commit to each swing with confidence, let go of mistakes and setbacks and most importantly stay in the present moment for the shot at hand.
