In response to a resident’s request, Tickle Park is scheduled to have its shade sail extended to further protect the toddler play equipment from the sun.

New Pathway For Doonan Creek Reserve

Doonan Creek Environment Reserve is an important coastal habitat area with vegetation that ranges from iconic coastal heath, scribbly gum forest to melaleuca wetlands.

It’s home to more than 125 different bird and 24 different mammal species and vulnerable wallum frogs.

Our community has helped council restore the reserve for many years at various tree planting events, and in the last three years alone, has planted more than 11,700 native trees, shrubs and ground covers.

It’s great news that a new pathway will be constructed to make access to the site more accessible for people of all abilities.

Road Upgrade

The trip along North Arm Yandina Creek Road will soon be a lot less dusty with an upgrade from unsealed to a sealed road.

The first stage of this upgrade will occur over the next few months.

There won’t be a full road closure during the works, however there will be some delays. Council thanks you in advance for your patience.
