PARLIAMENT IS BACK IN ACTION

Watch Politics Live

Greeting from the first sitting of Parliament for 2023!

With tabling’s in Chamber to be debated at the next sitting including efforts to reduce youth crime, and a Notice Paper with instrumental reforms regarding coercive control, a reminder that you can view Parliament live via www.Parliament.qld. gov.au/Work-of-the-Assembly/Live-andArchived-Broadcasts, with all my speeches outlining the rationale on how Noosa’s vote is utilized available at www.SandyBolton.com/ Parliament/Speeches.

Airport Flight Path Review

The Sunshine Coast Airport Post Implementation Review (PIR) draft report has been completed and there is now a four-week period for public comment ending on March 12.

Our office has posted a Noosa 360 (www. SandyBolton.com/Noosa360) update with the full draft report and written submission links.

Thanks For Having A Say

Thank you to all who had their say in our annual Noosa MP Community Survey with the highest response rate ever which is vital in working towards the future you seek!

There have been some changes in ‘community think’ with decriminalisation of cannabis and the reduction of commercial fishing licenses seeing a decline in percentages.

There was also a consistent majority of nearly 80% seeking an end to political parties and MP’s data harvesting from postal vote applications, and utilising constituent details to campaign via text, email and ‘robo calls’.

The full results have now been published at www.SandyBolton.com under the ‘Connect Tab’.

Keep In Touch Online

With so little room and so much time between columns, please stay ’in the loop’ via Noosa 360 with updates on a range of important issues including Noosa Northshore, Teewah, Youth Crime and State controlled roads as examples.

In addition, follow ‘Sandy Bolton MP’ on Facebook to receive updates as soon as they come available, including our weekly ‘Wrap’ with news and grant information, and by subscribing to our e-newsletter.

A reminder that you can subscribe for updates to any or all Parliamentary committees at www.Parliament.qld.gov.au/ Visit-and-learn/Have-Your-Say/Subscribe which will ensure you are notified when submission periods open and public hearings are scheduled.

Drop By Our Mobile Offices
