Admission is free. The dates for 2012 are May 23rd and 24th. Opening times are from 10 am until 6 pm Registration as an exhibition visitor grants entry to all conference sessions. For visitors it’s an opportunity to catch up on the latest technology and techniques, meet old friends and make new ones in an accessible, compact and pleasant setting.

Who comes? The profile in 2010 was:• Visitors from 23 countries • Decision makers from fish farming operations worldwide • Decision makers from Universities involved in aqua research • Influential and senior NGO and government agency executives involved in major aqua policy initiatives and issues. • Specialists in providing aqua services like risk management, safety, veterinary services etc • Journalists from all the major aquaculture trade papers and magazines • Aquaculture students, who will be tomorrow’s managers and teachers. But also and equally importantly, people from the industry from the hands-on level in the industry to the boardroom. The venue facilities are excellent, there will only be industry participants in the conference and exhibition complex. There are 1000 free parking spaces at the venue .

The Conference Scott Landsburgh CEO of the SSPOAudiences for the conference sessions in 2010 were good and especially large on day two to hear Brian Dornan, Head of Aquaculture Policy at Marine Scotland, Scott Lansburgh of the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation (pictured) and Douglas Low of EWOS outline the industry’s own vision for the future. We are currently sourcing speakers of this calibre for the 2012 sessions. It is anticipated that the full programme of presentations for the Aquaculture UK 2012 Conference will be available in late 2011. Registration as an exhibition visitor grants entry to all conference sessions. The conference will be in 4 half day sessions. These will run each day from 10.30 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 16.30 hours. We particularly want to hear from students of aquaculture as one of the two days will be given over to presentations from the UK’s most promising Aqua researchers. Details of this opportunity will be circulated to all those studying aquaculture and related subjects in 2009
