how to choose

you r

g n i wedd

photographer By Damon Tucci

It is often said, “at the end of the day all you have a wedding at a high-end hotel will photograph differis your photographs”. In fact, I have heard from many ently than one at a local community center. The comclients that a lot of the day, especially during the ceremony, the whole thing can be a blur. The photographs are a lasting reminder of these precious memories. So, how can a client get the most out of their photographer and photographs? The answer, in my opinion is teamwork and communication between the client and artist. It is much like a dance between subject and artist. Realistic expectations by both parties need to be established. Certainly 10

C ELEB RAT IONSAN DEVE N TS.COM

munity center is usually harder to work in because the backgrounds available may be less than desirable, and this is when experience comes in handy. Wedding photographers need to make compromises and split second decisions constantly to achieve the best results. So how do I pick a photographer you may ask? Well let’s consider these four important factors to begin with: STYLE, PERSONALITY, EXPERIENCE, BUDGET.

is perhaps the most important element. Websites and social media are easy ways to make sure the photographer’s style is congruent with the vision STYLE you have for your special day. It is important to see a whole body of work rather than just a few of the best ones of the wedding. By seeing an entire wedding you can properly evaluate the work as a whole. Ideally the photographer is trying to tell the “story of the day” through the lens of his or her camera. Each of us sees the world quite differently and because of that we are blessed with a variety of different photo styles. One is not better than another necessarily; they are just different, like jazz and rock n roll. You as the client want to pick one that you connect with on a visceral level.

does matter. Clients, especially the bride, will be interacting with the photographer more than PERSONALITY any other vendor that day. I have known a few extremely talented photographers that were also extremely difficult to work with. Some clients might be able to deal with this, but I find it completely unacceptable. I feel you should find someone who you can trust to exceed expectations and ensure you not only photograph great, but that you also have a wonderful experience as well.

is invaluable for the wedding photographer and something that you will want to research well. EXPERIENCE Would you rather have a surgeon that has done 6 operations or one that has done 600? Definitely 600. You don’t want someone learning or honing their skills on your special day. Things don’t always go as planned at the wedding. Ideally you want someone who can roll with the punches and come home with extraordinary images not EXCUSES. Word of mouth from past clients, vendors and venues, will steer you in the right direction. Don’t be afraid to ask the photographer for referrals from past clients as well.

the “b” word. Budget certainly plays a huge role as well. I myself would love to have a Maserati BUDGET but alas. Your coordinator will be a great help with defining and helping you stick to your budget. While it is important, it is also important not to settle for something you don’t want. Don’t be afraid to flatter the artist, (they love that by the way) tell them your situation, and see if some mutually beneficial custom package can be worked out.

In the end you want it to be a good fit! Remember the photographer is evaluating you as well. Bringing in “lists” from the internet stating bride and groom or cake cutting shots may cause them concern. Many modern photographers are looking for real moments to happen and capture rather than checking off listed shots. A small list of maybe 20 shots, usually family groupings is ok, but hopefully you have chosen someone that does not need to be reminded to take some of the bride and groom together. Photographers welcome suggestions and want you to be happy with the results. Ideally you will pick wisely and trust them to do their thing. You would not tell the surgeon how to operate on you, would you? An engagement session is a great trial run to see how you all work together. Ideally after that there is a rapport and trust between you and the photographer. They will know how to make you look your best and have learned something about your personality. Most Photographers would prefer to have a happy client whose expectations they can exceed rather than telling you they can walk on water- promise you the world, and deliver mediocrity. I would happily refer a prospective client to someone else if I did not think our visions were aligned, rather than just make the sale. At the end of the day you want someone you jive with, feel you can communicate with, and who has a rock solid reputation. Happy Wedding Planning! DAMON’S EXPERT TIPS: Day Before

Try not to consume too much alcohol and get a good night sleep the night before the wedding. Be on TIME! Make sure your bridesmaids or groomsmen are on time as well. It will make a big difference in your photos. Relax as much as possible and try to be mindful and immerse yourself in the day.

Wedding Day

Work with your photographer and planner to ensure that you will have sufficient time to get those must have images. Veils are sexy and make for awesome photographs. Back of the dress shots give a different perspective and also can provide an establishing shot of the venue. The little details are important as well. Once you get to the reception, the hard part is over. It is time to let your hair down and have fun with friends and family.

KELLY FAETANINI FALL 2016 BRIDESMAIDS COLLECTION www.kellyfaetanini.com

In the mind of C.S Lewis, a supernatural marvel exists in the novel lands of Narnia. A fantasy world of royal magic and mystical beasts, where animals have a voice and the unexpected is always lingering close by. This Fall collection takes inspiration from that feeling of mystery, and explores the depths beyond the supernatural. Each gown is made with luxurious silk fabrics in fairy-like hues of white, rose and champagne. Details of intricate hand beading resemble a forestry nature of leaf patterned appliqués glistened with ice crystals of a winter’s frost. Structured silhouettes have soft tulle overlays, and illusions of floating lace trim onto shoulders. “Once a queen …. Always a Queen …” CS Lewis

From Salsa to Sundaes CREATIVE FOOD BAR IDEAS FOR ANY EVENT Are you looking for some exciting ways to spice up the buffet line? Want to wow your guests while incorporating some of your favorite fun foods? The most popular trend we’re seeing is the incorporation of various food bars. There are tons of options that you can do, from cupcakes to candy to chips and dips. Let’s check out a few of our favorites!

C EL E B RAT I O N SAN DEVE N T S.CO M 23

Sliders.

These portable little bites have ballooned in popularity over the past 5-10 years. They can be made of anything from burgers to buffalo chicken to gyro meat. Serve these up with a condiment station, and you’re bound to delight your guests.

International Themes. Think Greek by offering a food bar filled with different kinds of olives, Greek cheeses and yogurt, and bite-size spanakopita, or a Mexican theme with a taco, salsa, or churro bar, or an Asian theme with stir fry or sushi. This is a great way to bring out your heritage!

24

C ELEB RAT IONSAN DEVE N TS.COM

Breakfast. If you’re having a brunch themed event, choose your favorite breakfast food items and feature them. Think pancakes, waffles, biscuits, omelets, or even bacon.

Milkshakes. Ice cream bars are great, but imagine having a station where guests can create their own handspun milkshakes. Talk about nostalgic, memorable, and delicious!

Carnival Fare. Offer up flavored popcorn, different kinds of caramel and candied apples, corn dogs, colorful cotton candy, or some other kind of carnival fare. Guests won’t be able to resist these indulgent favorites.

C EL E B RAT I O N SAN DEVE N T S.CO M 25

Donuts. From sweet to savory, you can’t go wrong with a donut bar. Stock this bar with filled donuts, traditional ring donuts, donut holes, and a wide variety of dipping sauces for guests to try. This is a food bar that guests will love any time of the day.

Potato Bar. Almost everyone enjoys potatoes, and they’re not very expensive. Present guests with whipped potatoes, French fried potatoes, and baked potatoes along with a variety of toppings and let them create their perfect spud.

Fruit and Champagne.

Consider providing a fresh and vibrant food bar with an assortment of sliced fruit served with champagne. Guests can eat or drink them separately or pair them together. You can even include some creative recipes for them to try.

There are no rules when it comes to creating food bars. Consider how the theme suits your event and your tastes, and have fun with it! What food bar options would you suggest? 26

By Samantha Crotty

For those of you who might be unfamiliar with the acronym, LGBT stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. Same-sex marriage is now legal in the U.S., which means you may attend a same-sex wedding or participate in one in the near future. How exciting! Here are some wedding etiquette tips and traditions that you should know:

C EL E B RAT I O N SAN DEVE N T S.CO M 29

There isn’t always an exchange of rings. While some couples stick with tradition and opt to purchase complementing wedding rings, some couples are exchanging watches or other tokens of their love and commitment to each other instead. The processional can get creative. Unlike traditional weddings where the groom and his attendants process first and wait at the end of the aisle for the bridal attendants and bride to process (usually escorted by one or both of her parents), many same-sex couples walk down the aisle together without their parents or bridal party, or meet halfway down the aisle. There’s plenty of creativity with this part of the ceremony.

Even unsupportive family should be invited. For same-sex couples who are wondering if you should invite a family member to your wedding who hasn’t been supportive of your relationship, the answer is yes. You’re only getting married once, and everyone important to you deserves the opportunity to attend.

Do you have any tips or insights on same-sex weddings that you’d like to share? Email us at Gianna@pwg.com! 30

C ELEB RAT IONSAN DEVE N TS.COM

Bridesmaids and groomsmen? Not like you might think. Same-sex weddings often have mixed genders in positions of honor within the wedding party. Rather than a maid of honor, for example, you might have a man of honor or two best men, and so on for females.

Listen to how the couple addresses each other. Some same-sex couples refer to themselves as partners, life partners, husbands, wives, or spouses. Listen to how they address one another and refer to them the same way.

Even unsupportive family should attend. If you’re the family member of a samesex couple who has invited you to their wedding and you don’t personally support the idea of same-sex marriage, set aside your personal feelings for those few hours and attend the wedding. Please refrain from sharing your views on this subject when it comes to their wedding.

Don’t expect all the same traditions as opposite-sex weddings. You may be used to seeing certain wedding traditions that apply to brides or grooms (the bouquet toss or garter toss, for example) that you’re less likely to see at a samesex wedding. Just go with the flow. Everyone will mingle. There isn’t likely to be a side designated for each member of the wedding couple during the ceremony. It’s more likely that guests will be encouraged to sit wherever they’d like. Reception seating is likely to be mixed, too.

verónica + michael’s

mayan matrimony APRIL 11, 2015 ORLANDO, FL

After 7 years of dating, Veronica Rodriguez and Michael Neves tied the knot during a small celebration in the Mayan-like ruins at the Maitland Art Center. The ceremony was followed by a colorful reception at the Veranda in Thornton Park, the same area where Michael and Veronica met for the first time. On their special day, they were joined by their family and closest friends during a very personal, yet fun-filled ceremony which included traditional Latin food, cupcakes, and a mixture of Spanish and English music keeping their guests on their feet until the DJ announced last call. Veronica began her big day by getting ready alongside her best friends, siblings, and mother in law; while Michael and his friends gathered to share a glass of Whisky. The following morning, the newlyweds were joined for brunch by their families, prior to departing to Asia for a month-long honeymoon.

abby + danny’s

mission incredible APRIL 4, 2015 HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL

The Mission Inn’s beautiful fountains and Mediterranean-inspired architectural details provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Our ceremony was held at the Plaza De Las Palmas courtyard amongst our closest family and friends. The courtyard had a simple fountain in the middle lined with italian ruscus, gardenias, and roses. Pink, ivory, and gold sheers draped the archways and set the focal point of our altar. Guests sipped on tray passed prosecco and took in the intimate setting before taking their seats. Lisa Stoner Events and her team did an amazing job of designing and making Danny and my vision come to life right before our eyes. We were inspired by our Italian heritage and the love of family, so the entire day was all about honoring these two elements. The reception was held on a vast green lawn outdoors overlooking a lake. Market lights were strung over the large U-shaped table giving it the perfect “al fresco” atmosphere. Twinkle lights were strung throughout the large bushes bordering the outside of the table. A large grand fountain which is flanked by towering palm trees is the centerpiece of the courtyard. At night, large hurricane vases with candles illuminated the architecture of the fountain. The tablescapes were decorated with hand calligraphed name cards, mahogany rattan chargers, with the menu custom printed on kraft butcher bags.

42

C ELEB RAT IONSAN DEVE N TS.COM

Fresh rosemary sprigs with italian loaves were neatly tucked in each menu bag. Grilled lemons nestled amongst crystal cut compotes topped everything o while our guests enjoyed the family-style meal. I honestly cannot get over how perfect our wedding was! The the pink lunar eclipse had to have been the icing on the cake. If Lisa Stoner Events had her way, I’d say she ordered that one custom just for me!

The southern chic Thach and Liao wedding took place at a beautiful horse ranch in Inverness, FL. The groom was escorted by the couple’s dog and ring bearer, Dexter, while the bride was escorted by her father in a horse-drawn carriage. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour was filled with upbeat country music, a photo booth, open bar and personalized games like corn hole and giant Jenga. Prior to dinner, the couple held a traditional tea ceremony honoring their parents and grandparents. The reception dinner atmosphere was meant to feel like a large family dinner with long tables and dinner served family-style. Following the nine-course meal, the newlyweds did their cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and socialized with guests. Guests could also enjoy their DIY smores kit party favors in a large open bonfire. The night ended with hours of dancing and a grand sparkler exit.

Nastassja and Travis are a fun-loving couple, who wanted to incorporate their upbeat personalities and love story into their wedding. They met while Travis was in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, Virginia so “Anchored in Love” was the perfect theme. The couple created a vibrant atmosphere by incorporating hot pink, navy blue, and lots of shimmer and sparkle. After exchanging their vows in the History Center’s historic Courtroom, guests entered the Traveling Exhibit Hall which featured elegant lighting and florals throughout, along with anchor accents and beautiful sparkling linens. The night was filled with heartfelt toasts, dance-offs, and endless laughter with family and friends.

angela’s

angelic baby shower JUNE 27, 2015 WINTER PARK, FL From the moment guests opened their onesieshaped invitations that were covered in pink glitter, they knew they were celebrating the arrival of a baby girl. When guests arrived at The Alfond Inn, a tall white angel holding a bouquet of moss, peonies, and roses stood watch in the atrium of the hotel, as cherubs played at her feet. Angela is a family name, and throughout her life everyone called her “Angel,” and she was about to welcome her own special angel into her life. It was natural that the hostesses wanted to surprise her with a baby shower that used angelic, ethereal elements to celebrate the past, present, and future of their family. The event began with a cocktail hour that celebrated the mom-to-be. Guests were served wine and champagne as they chatted and listened to Victoria, the harpist, play nursery rhymes. It was there that the guests first learned the baby’s name—Aviana. The tables were set with champagne glitter chargers, gold flatware, gold rim stemware, and gold fine china, with a white chocolate baby favor at each place setting for the guests to take home. As guests were served a delicious lunch, they heard stories from several friends and family members that had supported Angela throughout her life. After lunch, the guests headed to the lovely dessert table where an angel shepherd’s hook held a clothes line filled with beautiful onesies, sleepers, bibs, shoes, and tutus. Among the desserts were white chocolate

champagne rice puddings, black forest cake shooters, strawberry shooters, pink glitter cookie cakes, brownie glitter pops, white chocolate covered Oreos, and pink bubble gum necklaces. Flourish Floral Productions designed a stunning backdrop for Angela to open her baby gifts in front of, with layers of beautiful pink, ivory, and gold sheer fabric and a sweet sign with Aviana’s name and cherubs. Angela even had her very own tufted ivory settee with pink pillows, all surrounded by soft pink lighting. As a ďŹ nal surprise for the family, the lovely hostesses

gatsby brunch MARCH 8, 2015 WINTER PARK, FL

The best way to describe this event was “special.” So many vendors came together to give Andrea and Matt the Big Little Wedding of their dreams. Everyone involved stepped their game up and contributed something unexpected and out of the ordinary. One of our own was getting married, and we all wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The original theme of the wedding was “Gatsby Garden Party” but it evolved into something that was truly Andrea and Matt. The soft champagne, blush, gold, and silver were the perfect combination of colors for a brunch wedding. The overall feeling was elegant, ethereal, and full of love.

love sparkles MARCH 21, 2015 ORLANDO, FL

The bride and groom were high school sweethearts so when they decided to get married there was plenty of time to plan their perfect wedding. From the design of the invitations to the sparkler exit, they wanted their guests to know that they were going to be treated to a first class event. The ceremony took place at Holy Family Catholic Church followed by a cocktail hour and reception held at the Rosen Shingle Creek. Guests entered the cocktail hour upstairs in a room that circled the dining room below. As you looked below the couples monogram was centered on the dance floor. Mahassan and Andrew attended their cocktail hour and Mahassan surprised Andrew with a Wing Bar where the wings were cooked in front of the guests and tossed in their choice of sauce. Purple “Maharita’s” were passed around coordinating with the shades of purple worn by the bridesmaids. After cocktails, guests were lead downstairs into a room that sparkled with silver glittering tablecloths and an ombre of purple flowers with silver curly willow topped the tables. A candy bar was provided for guests to take home their favorite candy and snacks. It featured sweet and savory items such as a tower of donuts, old fashion stick candy, gourmet popcorn, cheez-

meant to bee DECEMBER 20, 2014 ORLANDO, FL

For this Bride and Groom’s fairytale wedding, a traditional venue to host 165 friends and family members wasn’t going to cut it. As an event planner and the lead designer of her own wedding, the Bride wanted the event to be unforgettable, while pushing her skills to the limit. The Dr. Phillips Center was a brand new, state-ofthe-art theatre located in the heart of downtown Orlando, Florida. The city had awaited its opening for months, and the public was excited to have a new theatre that would fuel the fire for the arts in Orlando. Not only would the couple be pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, they would make Orlando history in the process. They wanted to transport guests from Orlando to the hills of Hollywood for an Oscar-inspired evening full of drinks, dinner, and dancing, all while incorporating their ‘Meant To Bee’ wedding theme. This element was used on the save-thedate cards, wedding invitations, the couple’s

website, and it continued through to the playbill guests received—a clever ode to the weddings unique theatre venue. The couple’s love for bees was subtlety incorporated into elements throughout the event, including the cake and bridal bouquet. The night couldn’t have been more perfect. The Groom hired a production team to make it snow outside of the venue, so they could walk through dancing snowflakes to their Cinderellainspired carriage, where they rode off into the night to their happilyever-after.

storm troupers JUNE 21, 2015 WINTER GARDEN, FL

Not content to settle for a traditional wedding, Dani and Reed Noland insisted on finding creative and original ways to tell their story as a couple. Their wedding, hosted in the historic Garden Theatre in Winter Garden, wove in elements of vintage movie theatres and pop culture. With a palette of navy, mint and gold, the couple crafted inexpensive décor and DIY projects into a detailed and unique wedding day. In sticking to their 13K budget, the couple looked for outsidethe-box vendors, like gourmet grilled cheese and burgers from Toasted, and bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen ties from the online retailer Azazie. Perhaps most unique of all, Dani and Reed surprised their Guests with an appearance from “Star Wars” Stormtroopers at the reception.

tab’s idal shower

ooh la la, she said yes! SEPTEMBER 20, 2015 ORLANDO, FL

Paris came alive in Orlando for one day only and it was all to shower good luck and special blessings on a very special Bride to Be. Orlando Wedding Photographer, Tabitha McCausland is set to marry her Prince Charming this coming January in the Bahamas, but before things get tropical, a visit to Paris is in order. In Paris is where you would have thought you were at this gorgeous bridal shower held at the Grand Bohemian Hotel downtown Orlando. Carlisha Magnarella from A Rose Designs Wedding Planning was enlisted from day one to bring Tabitha’s dream shower to life. Working with some of Orlando’s most talented wedding vendors, this dream come true shower was truly an amazing affair. Tabitha loves everything Parisian and there were a lot of details we knew could be incorporated to make this a one of a kind event. From the centerpieces made to look like Chanel perfume bottles to the croqueembouche that adorned the custom dessert table and the Eiffel Tower that so beautifully accented the wall, no detail was left

untouched. On the guest tables, gold glitter chargers accented the all black and white look of the tables which featured blush pink napkin bows and black/white striped chair sashes. Beautiful vignettes were put together to create fun accents around the room and featured special moments such as a Kiss the Miss Goodbye frame and a Date Night Ideas jar for guests to give their special blessings to Tabitha and even a Photobooth to take some silly pictures together! JEAN-RALPH THURIN Jean-Ralph Thurin’s latest bridal collection is inspired by Marie Antoinette and the beautiful gardens of Versailles. The opulence that was, the excess that is Versailles. From the gilded main gate to the ornate bedroom apartments of Louis 16th and Marie Antoinette. The beautiful chapel and manicured gardens set the tone as the inspiration for the Fall 2016 bridal collection. Using modern silhouettes, Jean-Ralph Thurin incorporates overly detailed embroidered bodices, ball gowns with volume and excess fabric befitting present day royalty.

5 Unique Ways to Incorporate Family Tradition in Your Wedding

by Susan Southerland

One of the most time-honored traditions in weddings is the adage, “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.” Although the popularity of this tradition waned over the past decade, it’s making a resurgence. Weddings are such sentimental events. What better time to incorporate things that hold meaning to you and your family? Here are some of the unique ways my couples have infused their weddings with Something Old: 122

WEAR PART OF A GOWN WORN BY A BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER. Rather than wearing an actual hand-me-down gown, one of my brides had a piece of her grandmother’s gown sewn into the lining of hers. The groom also had a piece of the gown sewn into the lining of his suit vest. They felt it brought them even closer on the wedding day.

deux BROACH BOUQUETS. I loved the broach bouquet created by one of my brides. She sent out an e-mail to every guest prior to the wedding day asking for any broaches she could borrow. Then she carefully arranged them into a stylish, vintage-inspired bouquet. All but one of the pins was returned after the wedding, but the photos of the incredible bouquet will last a lifetime!.

CELEBRATING LOVE. One of my favorite ways to see couples honoring their families is having the DJ ask that couples of a certain age take the dance floor. Sometimes they ask for the couple who has been married the longest, or it may be couples who have been married for more than a certain number of years. It’s a sweet way to recognize true and timeless love, and a very creative way to bring in the “Something Old.”

PICTURES. I’ve had couples hang black and white images from their grandparents’ weddings on the ends of the church pews. Other couples have created jewelry with old photos, such as keychains and lockets, to carry with them. Sometimes having that image to look at for inspiration can make the wedding day complete.

cinq

ACCESSORIES. From hair clips to tie pins, my couples have shown a lot of skill in repurposing old family heirlooms and incorporating them into their weddings. Don’t be shy about asking relatives for old items they’re willing to part with. You may be surprised at what you can do with them!

DIFFICULT WEDDING GUEST SCENARIOS (and how to deal with them) by: Susan Southerland

Sometimes weddings bring out the best and the worst in people. I have seen beautiful demonstrations of love and support, and I have witnessed downright nastiness. The best time to deal with potentially unruly guests is before they show up on the wedding day. Here are a few troubles I’ve encountered over the years and some details of how I handled them.

C EL E B RAT I O N SAN DEVE N T S.CO M 13 5

o i r a n e c S

1

THE RAUNCHY RELATIVE WHO WANTS TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THE WEDDING COUPLE.

Sometimes future mothers-in-law aren’t happy with their child’s choice of spouse. That was evident in one wedding I had a few years ago. The motherin-law decided she was going to wear a white sequin dress, stating she was going to make sure everyone was looking at her rather than the bride. Naturally, the bride was quite upset that she would be competing with her mother-in-law. After repeated pleas to the groom’s mother that went without acknowledgement, we decided to purchase a bridal gown embellished with stunning gold accents. The bride looked breathtaking in it, and on the wedding day the groom’s mom looked foolish for being in all white and she had to listen to what a stylish, bold choice her daughter-inlaw made with such a breathtaking gown.

2

ANGRY EXES CRASHING THE PARTY.

One bride I worked with had a nasty breakup with a really troubled boyfriend prior to meeting her fiancé. Once the ex found out about the wedding, he repeatedly threatened to crash the wedding and embarrass the bride. Our solution was to host the wedding at a private club that required that guests be on a list to be admitted onto the property. The security guards were able to deal with the angry ex before he could set foot anywhere near the ceremony and reception.

Scenario

3

Scenario

4

SEVERE FOOD ALLERGIES.

This may not be as dramatic an example as the two above, but not following the proper food handling would have resulted in a serious reaction including hospitalization or death for one of my bride’s brothers. To make sure he would be safe, we had a meeting with the chef early in the planning process to make sure the proper menu was created. We met with the chef again two weeks prior to the wedding to make sure that he remembered about the food allergy.

DIVORCED FAMILY MEMBERS NOT COOPERATING FOR PHOTOGRAPHS.

Divorce can really bring out ugly behavior among exes. This can be a huge problem for group photos on the wedding day. I worked with one sweet couple who had multiple divorces in their families, most of whom would not stand together in photographs. Our solution was to set up different stepfamily groupings around the venue, and the bride and groom went from one to the other to get the photos they wanted. It’s always best to plan ahead when you see trouble brewing before your wedding day. Don’t be afraid to have open conversations to make your concerns known, and be creative when finding solutions. You want to celebrate on your wedding day, not be a referee.

Brittany & Justin

I SEPTEMBER 3, 2014 LAKE COMO, ITALY

Brittany and Justin married in Lake Como on one of the most beautiful corners of the lake at Villa La Cassinella. 60 guests joined them for a threeday affair. The festivities started with a family style welcome dinner at the intimate Al Veluu overlooking the lake, which featured the Milan symphony orchestra. The wedding day started with guests being picked up by private boat and delivered to the Villa. The head mixologist from the Bvlgari Hotel Milan curated the cocktails for the special day and attendees were welcomed with imported champagne from France and fresh barriers, selected by the bride. The bride was preceded by her 3lb maltipoo and her mother as a string quartet serenaded her down the aisle. Dinner was held in a magical tent featuring endless candles, silk tablecloths and gold-rimmed china and crystal. The bride and groom performed a choreographed tango for their fi rst dance complete with lunges, jumps and dips. Aft er the tango, the live band erupted into dance

music and the crowd danced the night away and concluded with fi reworks.
