Supported by their ownership group, the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), the Club continues to set the benchmark for course conditioning in Singapore and never ceases to give up on its quest to find perfection. The Club is ambitious and hungry to drive the standards of innovation and produce an experience that is beyond the best imaginable.

SUSTAINABILITY
WORLD’S BEST ECO-FRIENDLY GOLF FACILITY Climate Change is one of the biggest threats to humanity and the world we currently live in. Without significant change, the world will reach the point of no return and the levels of carbon in the atmosphere will begin to become uncontrollable. The team at Sentosa Golf Club has made significant efforts over the last few years to create a sustainable way of life, with the Club becoming a leader for sustainability in the golf industry. Since the launch of #KeepItGreen, the Club’s first ground-breaking sustainability campaign, in 2018, a number of environmentally-friendly initiatives have been installed on-site to raise awareness for how golf clubs can help play their part to tackle climate change, in addition to reducing their own overall carbon footprint. In 2020, the Club launched a second sustainability campaign, GAME ON, designed to unite the game’s key stakeholders with the wider golfing community to implement new modern processes for the betterment of the environment. Most recently, Sentosa become the world’s first golf club to join the United Nation’s Sports for Climate Action Framework; an initiative aimed at supporting and guiding sports organisation and their communities on a path to achieving the global climate goals set out by world leaders in the Paris Agreement; as well as the first golf club in the world to commit to becoming carbon neutral by 2022 by setting aside contributions from golf rounds to purchase certified carbon offsets.
