Our Story How it all Started Pierre Hage-Boutros (center, holding frame) is honored for celebrating 27 years in Foodservice. ierre had a dream to open his own deli, serve the people of the community and bring them together. Pierre acted on that dream and bought the Old Butler, a small deli and general grocery store. In 1990, he opened Pierre’s Deli. The community appreciated the Ƌuality and hospitality that Pierre oīered and they supported him. ,e then realinjed he could beƩer accommodate his guests by adding a restaurant. So in August 1995 to the Spring of 1996, Pierre added a total of four rooms to complete his restaurant which was added to the deli.

The mission at Pierre’s of South BrunswicŬ is to treat all of our patrons liŬe members of our family, provide them with food that is made with the Įnest Ƌuality ingredients, and the best service possible. At Pierre’s it’s all about maŬing the impossible, possible. In order to accomplish anything in life you need hard worŬ, determinaƟon, and a strong belief system. That is the picture created when you walŬ into the establishment. It was not modeled aŌer a corporate idea but one man’s vision for a future for his family. A passion of his, that conƟnues to grow strong every day. Pierre and staī oīer a friendly, warm and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for celebraƟng any occasion.

In late 1996, Pierre further expanded his establishment, purchasing the property adjacent to the deli and restaurant. In early 1997, he started construcƟon on the baŬery. >ater that year he opened the baŬery, an ideal addiƟon that went well with the deli and restaurant.

Pierre’s dream is coming true and he plans to Ŭeep growing and conƟnue to unite the community with his philosophy of life͗ ommunicaƟon, hnderstanding and Trust͊

In order to beƩer serve the community, Pierre moved his deli from the restaurant and connected it to the baŬery in 2001. Pierre then completely renovated his restaurant and added a bar and banƋuet facility including Įve banƋuet rooms. Pierre’s dream all along was to bring together under one roof, his

If we were to choose one culinary trend that is sweeping the nation, it would be the humble bowl, which has taken restaurant menus, food blogs and food magazines by storm. The rules are few and the interpretations endless. Most bowls follow the same format: start with a base, such as ancient grains, pasta, or perhaps the trendy riced cauliower; add a lean protein, main and secondary toppings, and a vibrant dressing. TRY GLOBALLY-INSPIRED INGREDIENTS AND CONDIMENTS Bowls play well with the popular trends of street food and foreign cuisine. Asian and Middle Eastern cooking translate superbly to bowls thanks to their uses of unique starches and colorful condiments. 1. Add the quinoa to 2 cups salted water and bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer and cover until cooked, around 15-20 minutes or water is absorbed. 2. Cool the quinoa down to room temperature and place in a bowl.

3. Add the corn, black beans, mango, diced red pepper and green onion to the bowl and mix. 4. In a separate bowl whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, honey, cumin, chili powder and salt and pepper. Pour dressing into quinoa salad and mix.

Performance Foodservice-Metro NY Honors Drivers with 5 & 10 year Accident-free Record It was only 12 years ago that Hamid Sarmadi introduced a driver safety rewards program to recognize Performance Foodservice-Metro NY drivers who maintained an accident-free driving record for each year. In 2005, 18 drivers out of about 50 had no accidents at all. Today, 95 drivers out of 155 can say the same. INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees and measure all ingredients. Prepare a cookie or graham cracker crust in a 10” spring-form or cake pan. Spray one medium-sized non-sƟck saute pan with pan spray. Over low heat, melt the cream cheese in the saute pan. SƟr with a heat-resistant spatula. When the cream cheese is half melted, add the Bacio in three equal batches. SƟr to melt both cheeses and to prevent any browning. Keep the heat on low. When both cheeses are completely melted, turn oī the heat. Put the sour cream, sugar, corn starch, vanilla, eggs, yolks, and heavy cream in a food processor. Blend on high unƟl the mixture is smooth. Add the cheese mixture into the food processor and blend on medium to high speed unƟl smooth ;two minutesͿ. Pour the baƩer into the prepared pan, place the pan in a larger pan and surround it with one inch of hot water. Place the cheesecake on the middle rack in the oven for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, turn off the oven and let the cake cool for one hour. Leave the door closed. After one hour, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
