Mother’s Day is historically the biggest dining out day of the year! Many restaurants are already planning takeout and delivery services, with some now planning limited dine in options for Mother’s Day. You should expect a high demand from families wanting to give MOM a break from the kitchen. After all, moms have been working extra hard keeping their families feed, educated, protected and healthy over the past several weeks during the shelter in place guidance. PERFORMANCE Foodservice - Atlanta’s culinary expert, Chef Tony Schmidt, has created menu applications and helpful tips to make this a successful day of business for you, our valued foodservice operators. Although you may have perfected your curbside or delivery service over the past few weeks, as we work to transition back to the “new norm”, many people will need a little extra assurance from you their meal will be well prepared and delivered to them safely for their relaxing Mother’s Day experience.      

Tips for a successful Mother’s Day menu Plan your menu early and consider offering over multiple days Create family packs and bundles to reduce extensive offerings, preparation and waste Promote often across your active social media and website channels Consider pre-orders to manage your workflow and required staff Identify a “order ahead” process with key pick up time windows Clearly state your process for takeout and delivery orders as well as dine in options with necessary guidelines to insure social distancing

PREPERATION

Arrange arcadian greens in desired container. Top with the tomatoes. Create a bed and put 2 Burrata balls on top. Drizzle with Balsamic glaze and olive oil. Garnish with the basil. Heat the bread and then separate.
