Empire’s Treasure® Canned Crabmeat is pasteurized and created with only 100% Asian Blue Swimming Crab (Portunus Pelagicus). Empire’s Treasure® Canned Crabmeat is offered in six SKUs ranging from Colossal to Claw, packed in 6/1‑lb. container case with an 18 month shelf life.

The possibilities with crab are endless — crabcakes, breakfast omelettes, lunch entrées, center of plate dinner entrées, soups, salads and more. Operators have the choice of Empire’s Treasure® Canned Crabmeat in Claw, Special, Backfin Lump, Super Lump and Colossal for many uses.

Dark meat: from the claws and legs of the crab. Picked from the swimming fins of the crab with a strong flavor profile. Claw Crab Meat is ideal for dishes with heavy sauces or in dips and soups, as the flavor of the crab still comes through.

White meat: broken shoulder and body flake meat from the body of the crab. Often considered the most versatile grade for the widest range of recipes Special Crab Meat is perfect for crab cakes, salads, quesadillas, wraps, soups, and crab balls.

White meat: a blend of broken pieces of super lump, shoulder and body meat. Backfin lump is perfect for use in crab cakes, dips, salads, and casseroles. Makes a beautiful presentation when stuffing fish, chicken, vegetables or seafood. Ideal for casseroles, seafood pasta and seafood salad.

White meat: Super Lump is Crab Meat made from broken pieces of Jumbo Lump with larger flakes of white body meat and perfect for use in crab cakes, dips, salads, casseroles and more.

White meat: Jumbo Lump, consisting of the two large muscles connected to the swimming fins of the crab, is prized for its impressive size, bright white color and exquisite taste. It is best used in dishes where the size of the lumps can really shine. Ideal for crab cocktails, Steak Oscar or anywhere large lumps of crab are preferred.
