Consider, if you will a place where all things are kissed by fire before they are served. As summer quickly approaches, our thoughts turn toward the most ancient way of cooking food, over fire! It is a simple and effective way to cook almost anything. Just think about it. What makes an ear of corn golden and delicious, rolling it across a hot grill to give it color, texture, and flavor. Don’t stop there, how about grilling a half head of Romaine lettuce before making your favorite Caesar Salad! Dessert? Something sweet? Try Pineapple slices or halved Peaches grilled until they are just soft then sprinkled with Tajin. Then, of course, a few Allegiance Pork Chops or a savory Braveheart Ribeye, Striploin, hand cut and seasoned with salt, pepper and Piancone EVOO. Grilling, a rare medium, well done!
