Desde entonces he trabajado incansablemente como su voz para asegurarnos de recibir cada oportunidad de incrementar el acceso a la educación y cultivar el éxito para nuestra área. It is with great humility and respect that I ask the residents of our community for their continued support and confidence to remain as your Starr County
Representative on the South Texas College Board of Trustees during the upcoming May 5, 2018 election. When I came before you in 2012 you allowed
me the privilege of continuing my father’s, Manuel Benavidez Jr., legacy of service. I sought this seat not as a stepping stone into politics, but as a pathway to build on my passion for public service. Since then I have worked tirelessly as your voice to ensure we receive every opportunity to expand access and cultivate success for our area.
