Dear Portfolio Reader:
My name is Erick Patiño. Thank you very much for reading my English Language Portfolio. Level 6 has been a nice experience for me and I´m so proud of share with you the work I did during this semester. In the other hand, this portfolio reflects not only the work I did through this semester, but all the experience I´ve had as an English language speaker. Primarily, this portfolio consists of all the essays I wrote during this course and the final research project this level required. At the beginning of the semester my expectations for this level were to improve my speaking, writing, and listening. Fortunately I got better results than the expected ones and moreover I have the opportunity to meet great people during this course. In this way, this portfolio is a sample of the abilities I have improved and surely I will keep improving in next years. Every assignment took its time and effort from me, but it does not mean that I didn´t liked them. I enjoyed too much every assignment because I choose topics I
really felt interested in. My favorite essay was the interpretation essay. Every group had to choose a piece of art try to interpret it. We decided a Frida Kahlo´s painting called "The Love Embrace of the Universe the Earth, Myself, Diego and Senor Xolotl". I want to tell you that the painting tittle can be misleading because you might be thinking in a lovely painting, but you will find a somber and strange scenario. At the beginning you might dislike the painting, but you should give it a chance and try to realize what is depicted in it. For my group was really hard to understand it, and was necessary to use external sources in order to know about the artist life and the context she lived in. At the end of that activity I realized how important is to know some things about the people before judge their acts. In this way I would like to give you a brief look about my personal perspective. So you would understand better my points through every work. As you will see in my work I have certain preference for education related topics. I firmly think that education is one of the most valuable experiences a human being could have. My idea about education is that you should enjoy what you are learning so you would easily find inspiration and passion for it. Some professors have really inspired me in the subjects they teach. So has been easy for me to keep reading the books without keeping score of the hours I put in it. In this way I am very interested in become a high school teacher and a college professor in the future. My purpose is to give the next students generations a better approach to science and show them how beautiful the science could be. Thank you again for reading my portfolio. My work is not only words, I´m sharing my ideas and inspiration with you. I put a great deal of effort in it and I am sure that you would be proud of my progress as much as I am. Learning never stops and, personally, I will be always interested in improve my skills, and English will not be an
exception. At this point my English is not perfect at all, but I promise you and myself I will improve it for the rest of my life. Now I am ready to move to the next level and always I will be looking for be better than yesterday´s myself.
Sincerely,
Erick PatiĂąo
The Will: the Education Booster´s. Erick Patiño Yachay Tech April 29th, 2016
The Will: the Education Booster´s.
My father once said: “Son, if you do not want to study a career at least you necessarily should know how to do something as good as possible. You know, for live worthily or at least just for survive. I could have end up working on a mechanic. But I choose to study, take it into consideration”. And I thought: Bill gates decided to leave university, and now he is the Microsoft owner and my father pay for use Windows. Decades ago, parents started telling their child they should study, so it would be the least painful way to avoid economic troubles when they grow up. How much of it is true? Could someone without a degree live as good as someone who has one? Nowadays education is not the philosopher´s stone, but it is always the best way to improve our skills when will is the main catalyst. Education is not the key to be successful, but it can help. A recent study done by the Public Policy Institute of California, tried to demonstrate that workers who got an academic degree today have better earnings than those who did not. That study seems to be misleading because is based on past facts to predict future events. We can´t trust just on the education when some college graduated seems to could not reach a good level of development of basic skills. So they did not get human capital during their education. In this way, we have that an academic degree will not assure a job or at least the basic and essentials skills that the worker should have. But in fact these five years of university will offer students opportunities to develop their skills. Thereby, the most important thing is to take an advantage on it. Maybe, other people with the same will but not enough economic resources to study, would not have, for example, the opportunity to enter in a chemistry lab.
Usually college students think that an academic degree is all they need to get a job, but they don´t notice about the extra stuff. Is not about just getting the paper when end the college and go ahead for a job. George Leef debate on his article the next idea: “Buy this bond and you get interest payments in return; buy a college degree and you get higher wages in return”. This is one of the worst misconceptions that young people have because actually that is not the case. First, no one will pay you just for end College. Second, no one will wait at the entrance of the university to catch recent colleges graduated like you. It does not work like this and won´t do too. Job interviews are necessary in this sense, the employers really needs to know what the human capital quality their employees have is. In fact, jobs in which you only need to know how to do things such as process information, handle a computer, read and write documents are being displaced rapidly. The labor market has changed with the time. Companies do not want to employ repetitive task workers because they are looking for the really good ones. Those employees who can: make a presentation, propose ideas, relate with other workers easily, work in group, optimize time and resources, etc. Those skills are not learned at the college for the whole students. So, before saying employers should have given you all these jobs that you applied for, you should ask yourself: Do I really have the necessary skills to enhance the company development? If the answer is no, you really need to fix it At the beginning of the text, in the introduction we said that Education is not the key to be successful, but it can help because is a way to improve our skills when will is the main catalyst. Leef expose a pretty good example about three students: A, B and C. The A went through college and make an effort in order to raise his value and human capital so he got a good job when end the college. Student B went through college too, but made a minimum effort in order to pass the exams and did not raise his
skills because he thought that a degree by itself could augment his earnings in the future, but could not had any chance more than work at a game store. Student C didn´t went to college but learned Portuguese and computer programming so she made a portfolio online showing her aptitudes and got a good job as American representative of a Brazilian importer. There is a pattern in it, the will. The student B did not put the same dedication that students A and C did. The college will offer you a lot of chances to learn but it doesn´t mean that is the only way to do that. When you look for a goal and make your tries intelligently you will be able to reach it. To conclude we had that today´s labor market does not need credentials, but efficiency. We stated that education is not everything, But there´s no doubt it could mean an advantage. And the most important point: the will could mean an important point between being successful or mediocre. Misconceptions about education are not new. It is easy to find them in our society and will disappear as people notice they are mistaken. Higher education will not mean the possibilities to be successful or not, but is a good complement when will is present on the subject. Despite of this, the will can act by itself and provide good results.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF EDUCATION TODAY´S BARRIERS Erick Patiño Alonzo Yachay Tech May 5th, 2016.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF EDUCATION TODAY´S BARRIERS Most of children dream of being artists, scientist, football player, veterinary and others. Some jobs like these are not supposed to be the best paid ones, in some cases, but they are related to things that usually make us happy during our childhood. If we ask to someone about him labor expectations through the years they will change their mind starting, for example, thinking in being a rock star and end by telling us that medicine seems to be well paid despite the several years
of sacrifice implied in
studying it. Parent´s expectations, teachers work, socio-economic situation and other facts have an important impact in people education development. Parents, teachers and social context influence children minds. By setting limitations to their possibilities, telling them that their dreams are very difficult to be accomplished and giving bad recommendations these factor are affecting children future. Nowadays, there is a significant part of the world population that has not academic education, or has received education in inappropriate or non-successful ways. This problem is due to some familiar, socioeconomic, ethnic and scholar facts. Surely most of those people had faced at least one of the barriers or facts before mentioned.
Education barriers drive us today to higher poverty and crime rates, and unwilling and mediocre workers. If today´s students live their education in an inappropriate way, the results are going to be very evident. What can we expect from someone who is not doing what really loves? Right, too much people are not doing what they really love. Some of they are just working the best they can because want money. And the rest of them are not making their best. The effort and gain you put in your work will not pass unobserved .And this is just in case you could have the chance to study. And what If you can´t have this opportunity due for barriers such as social or economic
obstacles? Next we present an example based on the economic issue of this. Today, a lot of people around the world do not have access to education. They seem to have not enough resources or other more important problems. “Students are also forgoing education to help their families’ immediate needs, or to pursue other means to provide them with financial stability. At the same time however, education itself is often vital to achieving economic stability. Statistics have shown that Hispanic families who have at least one parent with a Bachelor’s degree or higher have a significantly lower than average child poverty rate (8.7 percent)” (COLORLINES, 2011). Poverty rates are also tightly related to crime rates. Actually some people are committing crimes, but they don’t make that without any reason. The needs force them into commit crimes such as stealing, picking pocket and others. An additional issue is that people in age college but no studying tend to form a family. The responsibilities grow and they simply forget their education. The trends about young people having family and non-working are growing. The consequences associated to it are very bad. Higher index of young parents, people with no academic education, crimes and unhappy workers are being presented. As another approach we show the Ecuadorian situation, based on a post made by a national newspaper called “El Comercio”. This newspaper in its website posted the following: “26 percent of college students deserted on their first years”. The newspaper starts stating that 40 percent of the students really do not know what to study. The survey was made with 9800 students from the country´s capital. In this new the newspaper interviewed two students, whose had deserted a career in the past. Both students say that they get enough score to choose the career they were looking for, but when started they really realized how the career is. One of they said that she choose nursery because their family told her about the possible
earning for that profession in public health centers. When desert the career some students tend to think in getting a job. And some of they have luck and others just no.
The existences of socioeconomic barriers, and lack of or incorrect motivation for children are examples of the factors that can affect the education population development. According to a study made by Child Trends, in U.S. it´s stated that educational expectation is lower for black children than for white children. And black parents, most of whom are less
educated than their white counterparts, do
expect their children to attain as much education
as white
parents expect.
not Parent´s
expectations are very influential in children life. Parents who have high expectations about their children are going to put more effort and will tend to improve the material and resources their kids need. Even parental background is influential on this topic. For example, in Ecuador, when parent´s jobs are related to medicine or teaching they guide their kids into these fields. Generally, it is developed a bad legacy feeling. Fortunately, despite the problems mentioned before, are being developed good initiatives in the country. Actually, most of the students in the two last high school years are being interviewed or surveyed. High Schools, public and private, are providing qualified tests to students in order to let them know some good proposals according to what they answer in these tests. In addition, Ecuador is the country that makes more investment in public education in South America. Nowadays, education is almost totally free for the whole population. Even the third level of education is free; meanwhile in others countries education is very expensive. It has been destined approximately $7.348 million dollars for public education during the current government mandate. Ecuadorian universities also take a voluntary part in this issue, by promulgating education benefits. Universities usually send groups of students from the
higher career levels to visit public and private high schools to offer the careers that their faculties have available. By showing to the students about the academic content through the career, labor possibilities and applications for the obtained knowledge, university students are not just giving career background, but really showing how each career is or is supposed to be. It is fundamental to make changes, and we should understand that these problems could be mitigated. One proposal for this issue is to, mainly, changing the parent´s low expectations. It is not supposed to be easy, but must be treated. Could be useful to make a national psychological campaign in order to rise parents and children expectations. Provide social and economic support for the people with low economic status to let them have better aims. And in this way, change the actual generation expectations. Improve better and more educative programs that can promulgate information about careers to the next college generation. As a general idea, improve the educational system, both public and private. Making a better review over the content taught in every single academic level. To conclude, we have seen that barriers such as socioeconomic situation, parent´s expectations and misinforming are very negative for education and posteducation development. Education is one of the most important topics inside a society and moreover for a country that is looking for be improved. It is a bad idea to ignore this. Fortunately, the government is treating this problem, but it seems to be not enough until now. We have the power to change our situation and it would be mainly based on our will.

Interpretation Essay: Frida Kahlo’s Art María Fernanda Molina Ron Kenny Jossue Pabón Cevallos Erick Steven Patiño Alonzo Yachay University for Experimental Technology and Research May 20th, 2016
Frida Kahlo’s Art How would you feel if your life is involved in a lot of bad experiences and suffering? Surely you would need someone to support you, but sometimes it is not enough. There are other alternatives and Frida Kahlo chose art as a way to express her feelings. Her paintings are not based in dreams or nightmares but in her own experiences. Frida Kahlo was born in Coyoacan, Mexico in 1909, and her parents had European descent. She grew up during the Mexican Revolution, a fact that influenced her thought. In order to express her deeper feelings which were often masked, Frida developed her own system of pictorial language. In her twenties, her art began to lose its European and Italian renaissance influence and start reflecting greatly a Mexican folk art. Frida Kahlo got married with Diego Rivera in 1929 (“Frida Kahlo's Erotic Imagery”, n.d.). He was an important part of Frida’s life and art like the painting “The love embrace of the universe, the Earth, Myself, Diego and Senor Xolotl” which for us means the dependence inside the universe and the duality of love. First, the title of the painting would make the audience think that it may be really colorful, lovely and maybe will show the beauty of love and universe, but instead of that you see a sad painting. It can be seen that the painting in general does not have bright colors. We see black on one half and white on the other half, this can be interpreted as the happy and painful episodes of life. Also there is a wound on earth’s chest from which one drop of milk appears. Despite this, she continues holding Frida in her arms. This can be interpret as a message from the Mother Nature which is that she is being hurt by humans. Lastly, there is a bleeding wound on Frida’s chest and a tear on her face while she is holding up a little Diego. This could be the suffering that she lived in her marriage because Diego cheated on her and also because she wasn’t able to give
him any child. So, she is carrying maybe what it could have been their “little Diego. Because all of these it shows the harmful side of love. Secondly, the position of the elements in the pictures exhibits a structure of hierarchy in which each level needs the support of each other. The picture project five characters; four of them have long arms which are hugging each other. The paint shows a pyramidal structure in which is distinguishable the mother universe, the Mother Nature, Frida, little Diego and Xolotl the dog. Universe is above all and its large arms are embracing everything below it, then nature comes to hug Frida, who is cuddling her husband represented as a baby. Over the larger arms there are plants and Xolotl. This pyramidal structure in the paint shows that elements in the universe and nature are interconnected and are dependent. No baby could grow up without a mother and no mother could live if there is no nature to live in, and also nature could not exist if there is no universe, because all would be empty. And looking backwards, without a baby a women is not mother and nature needs care of humans to not be destroyed. Regardless where we are we depend on someone or something else to keep existing. Finally, the complementarity found between some elements depicted in the painting represents the different choices we are able to make. Even when is not easy figured it out there exists a relationship between duality and dependence. The existence of one of the elements in duality implies the existence of the other. As we can see there is a big difference between the left and the right. Despite both are well defined with black and white color respectively, the gap that separates them is not a straight line. It means that is not really easy to distinguish between the good and the bad. The white and resplendent moon on the left dark side let us know that there exists the possibility of reach the good if we start from the bad. And the sun on the right and clearer side, that represents blood and anger for Frida, could mean that is possible to become bad even if
we are good persons. Analyzing how distant sun and moon are and the ideas presented before, is interpreted that we tend to be closer to the bad things than the right ones. For example, is easier to tell a lie than to be responsible of the acts we make. To support this idea we could focus on the center of the painting, if we pay attention to Diego´s hands we will find Frida's heart. It is well known that Frida suffered a lot during her marriage and he was cognizant of this so she put her heart in flames on his hands as a sign of the power and influence he had over her life (Famofauxwrites, 2014). In conclusion, Frida’s painting style is based on her life experiences which were influenced by the Mexican Revolution, her infertility and Diego, her husband. The most noteworthy features seen on the painting are: the contrast between the title and the paint itself that shows the both sides of love, the position of the elements in the picture that illustrates a structure of hierarchy in which each level is sustained by each other meaning dependence and finally the complementary elements suggest us the different possible choices that we are able to take. Therefore, Frida’s painting means that love has a good and a bad side, and each element in the universe needs another to assure its existence.

SHOULD CENSORSHIP BE PRACTICED IN SCHOOLS? Erick Patiño Alonzo Yachay Tech June 30th, 2016.
Should censorship be practiced in schools?
Imagine that certain day you return home after pass the entire day at job and suddenly you hear inappropriate words, expressions, slurs from your kids. Surely all the parents that had experienced that could feel disappointed or worried because they could think they have failed in their parental supervision job or the school they choose had a negative influence on their kids. It´s true that we, as human beings, have the right to express our ideas freely but there exists limits about what we could open share with the other elements of our society. A lot of movies, books and web articles has been prohibit in some countries due for the polemic they could become. And that´s an important practice because help in order to keep the society peaceful. Thus, the censorship is a necessary practice. First, our children can hear or be part of some inadequate speeches or situations that could shape their behavior. As kids grow up become a captive audience that is able to receive external influence every day, so the environment in which they live undoubtedly shape their perspectives. A child that lives in a catholic family is more likely to shape his behavior based on what his parents can teach at home based on beliefs, costumes, traditions, values, etc. In the same way a child that is exposed to racist point of views will probably be unfair with black people for example. And it would be more critical if a thinking like this is learned in both home or school. Some years ago the Yellow Medicine East School District [Minnesota] pulled the book: Little house in the prairie because a single parent found that it contained racially offensive material. The MCLU argued that his content could be used as an opportunity to discuss in classes how pervasive nature of racism has changed or not since the book was
written. As you can see, authorities even don’t have a similar point of view so it open the doors to another problem: Who can decide if this could be censorship or not? Secondly, the censorship allow us to avoid suggestive or obscene issues that are inappropriate to the age the audience do have. In Bathe High School in Pierce County, Washington, a student gave a nominating speech for a fellow student running for a student government position. The speech was replete with sexual metaphors, obscenities and double entendre. Obviously, it was supposed to be a helpful and persuasive speech but it ended up by being inappropriate and more suggestive that the school authorities could allow. We can see that clearly the school censorship was necessary and valid for this case. In the other hand, there could exists other cases in which the censorship would not be valid so should be established limits so distinguish were our rights to express our ideas is valid and where are not anymore
We as human beings, have the rights to express our feelings or ideas in the way we want. By applying censorship the message that we want to transmit would not be able to be transmitted or would be shaped. So the message would not have the same meaning. In the other hand, applying censorship to certain issues could trigger a contrary result. By being considered as taboos, the issues prohibited by the censorship could generate interest in the population. Primarily we live in society, so there exist rules that allow us to live together peacefully being respectful with the others. No one will force us into silence or desist of our ideas but what we share publically in the society should be respectful and not able to hurt others´ feelings. There are several ways to share a message or express our ideas. If you don’t want to be censorship be respectful or make sure about who is going to receive the message. Even the media has regulatory policies in order to regulate the
content the brands presents to the audience. Obviously the problem is more related to education. “For school censorship to be valid, some inevitable or unavoidable damage to students, teachers or school property must be clearly shown to exist”. (Petress,2015, p.p.251). In this way, the censorship would not be unfair because it must be justified and proved. As we have discussed throughout the essay, the censorship is useful and necessary in order to prevent our children from being part of inappropriate speeches or suggestive and explicit content due for the form it could influence them. We should protect our children´s minds of inappropriate ideas and censorship would be valid for this because would be applied when necessary. No free-expression rights would be silent, but the free-expression should be respectful.

Teaching, a fundamental career Erick PatiĂąo Alonzo Yachay Tech July 7th, 2016
Teaching, a fundamental career
Everyday some people do something that make a difference. Save a life, feed someone hungry, adopt a child, avoid a car accident, or something. Probably you will only be noticed about them if you live the situation in first person, but if you don´t, that people will keep living like unsung heroes. It was the 1990`s and Finland was going through an economic crisis. The country decided to relied it´s economy on education, and it´s heroes, the teachers, raised Finland´s economy. Today, Finland has one of the best education systems and a stable economy. Undoubtedly, the teachers are ones of the most influential people we would know on our life. Some of them could even inspire us into be the best we could and accomplish our long term goals. Teachers play and influential role in people´s education and, therefore, in society development. As a first approach, teachers spend a lot of time with kids, fostering relationships and correcting their failures in relationships day by day. Before our 18th birthday we would have passed about 14 years in academic institutions; kinder garden, school, high school. The mates we had and the experiences we live with them will undoubtedly give us a sample of how relationships would be later. These first experiences would makes us learn respect, awareness, responsibility and other several important values, but at this age we, as kids, are not able to know what is fair, correct, necessary and what is not. Parents and teachers are the called ones to manage these experiences and lessons of life. Parents and teachers could do that but one important fact is that parents usually tend to act in favor of their child and teachers would be impartial and therefore fair. Letting the children live together with other subjects in a fair atmosphere would give them a sample of how their behavior inside society should be.
Then, the effectiveness demonstrated in the teacher´s work is retained on student minds and have an important impact. Since we are child we start to be a captive audience and the hard working the teachers demonstrate to us, their students, always works as an ideal example. Tucker and Strong cited two experiments made on U.S.A. The experiments consisted in taking two groups of primary school students and let them experience high-effective teachers or low-effective teachers three years in row. The ones who had to work with effective teachers showed an increase in their grades and performing. Conversely, the other students who had to work with the less effective teachers showed an opposite effect. The results for the experiment prove how influential is the teacher´s effectiveness. Interestingly, another important fact in the research came up when was made a teachers and students variation. “Was proven that students who experienced whatever of the two kinds of teachers in the past, retained too much of the effectiveness of that one teacher through years” (Strong & Tucker, 2005). Thus, one year working with an effective or non-effective teacher was visible in the student´s subsequent performance. Moreover, teachers work is not just based on academic but also in a human way, teachers guides and also hear the student claims. Usually, blogs and letters written by teachers or people related to education use to include experiences about how their teachers had influenced them. Some of they cite the effectiveness, the hard working, the unusual but efficient ways to teach, the human capital showed, and the values those teachers had. Indeed, they even inspire us by showing us the right attitudes to face different challenges. Surely, one of the most memorable moments you will remember about your college life is how the teachers told you to don´t give up. “It´s difficult just if you want, don´t get afraid when have to face a challenge. It does not matter how difficult it could be, just keep trying and ever try to imagine what are going to be the
results”, is the typical professor´s phrase always heard inside the college classrooms. By improving a motivation´s atmosphere, the teachers inspire the future values of the tomorrow´s professionals. In addition, technology-based activities instructed by the teacher join the students to the technological world with responsible attitudes. The power that technology has until now is unimaginable and the array of opportunities it offers is extremely wide. Therefore, the incorrect usage of technology can be prejudicial. “In past years was common for the professors to stand in front of the students with a textbook and tell them what to copy. Now, by using technological devices the students are more independent inside the classroom and in the information searching” (Britland, 2013). The teacher role in these activities is to supervise the searching and assure it would be responsible and fruitful. Thus, the students would surely be capable to join easier with the information and develop better ways to improve their future selflearning. Furthermore, personalized learning is more efficient and fruitful than selflearning. Studying only from books is harder and takes more time. Usually, the books tend to be too formal, and the author assumes that the reader know some elementary skills to follow the book content. And when something is out of the reader knowledge is time to ask for other sources. As a particular example we can consider the Finnish system education. In Finland, every high school student has the opportunity to start personal projects and parallel find his own way to learn while the teacher supervises the activity progress. In this way, we could think that the student would be able to work alone, but what happen when the project stalls? Is there when the teacher takes part and together they find a way to solve the problem, and consequently make the project go on. Also, teachers assign more homework according to the weaknesses of the class or of a
particular student in the class. Indeed, by offering the appropriate material, solving doubts and supporting the students’ activities, the help the teachers bring is substantial for the success and the equal students´ learning progress, and the subsequent development of the citizens of tomorrow. Also, college teachers show the students a real example of how a professional should act. Usually, we look at the people with authority to mold our behavior through the years. Indeed, the first authorities we recognize would be our parents, but the talks about jobs and professions could give you just an idea of how a well-formed and responsible professional should be. However, the people that would show better how the professional attitudes should be are the teachers. Indeed, the student is always witnessing in real time the teacher´s work. In this way, the impartiality, the respect, the responsibility, the willingness to work, the compromise with the charge would not pass unobserved but would work as an authentic sample of the essential values that companies would need in their employees in real life. In the other hand, parents, as the most influential characters in students´ life, have a deeper impact by living with student since child. Teachers are not too influential if home developed skills are good because the kid, or students in general, is going to have his own criteria about how to face challenges. In this way, the teacher does not play the role of guide but companion that just works by telling them what to do in the appropriate time. Furthermore, students when kids spend more time at home, and it´s there where they have their first social contacts and develop behavior, learn modals and values. At school they just show themselves to the others and practice the manners learned before. As another idea and remembering the one presented before, primary and secondary school are supposed to follow a general study plan developed for the whole
student´s population. Thus, it´s clear that, given equal conditions to all the students, the only thing that could make a difference is the home influence. In contrast, it´s true that family is very influential in our lives, but is necessary to understand that every experience mold us throughout our life. At school, and inside every group, one of the most important facts is the mix of manners and behavior found around all the group´s elements. The student experiences the group environment and learns several things based on the others ideas while the teacher works as a mediator. Thus, if these ideas are wrong, the parents at home or the teacher at school will surely correct them. As we mentioned before in the Strong and Tucker´s research, the teacher´s work is fundamentally influential in student´s progress and skills, even during one single year. As another point we can take the Finnish system as an example. Here, the teachers have taken an important role in student’s life and progress, and, as a consequence, they improve not just the student’s skills but the whole country economy. To conclude, we have seen how teachers influence the society development by influencing directly the students’ life. Therefore, the effectiveness, the hardworking, the exemplary attitudes and, obviously the approach to knowledge the teachers offer clearly show how important and influential they are inside the society. Undoubtedly, education and knowledge are the keys of the today´s succeed. And the quality of a country is estimable based on the resulting quality found on young people values and human capital. However, these results are directly influenced by the adult people, and, particularly, by the teachers.
