Lest We Forget Anzac Day remains one of the most significant dates in Australia’s military history. Services are held at dawn, the time of the original Gallipoli landing, followed by marches and gatherings throughout major cities and towns.

Centenary of the Returned and Services League The RSL was founded in Australia in 1916 by returning soldiers from World War I with the aim of continuing to provide the camaraderie, concern, and mateship shown amongst the Australian diggers while they were at war.

The largest ex-service organisation in the country, it’s objective is to ensure that adequate care, compensation and commemoration is provided to returning servicemen and women, as well as those currently serving in the Australian Defence Force.
