Kitchens in Wolverhampton will never be the same again UK'S LARGEST KITCHEN FACELIFT RETAILER OPENS ON THE TETTENHALL ROAD Wolverhampton local, Richard Foster, has recently opened his Dream Doors showroom on The Tettenhall Road in Newbridge. And he already has an order book full of customers, all impressed by the franchised company's time and money-saving kitchen makeover service. A customer who had her kitchen doors and drawers swapped in a single day gave a glowing testimonial on the independent consumer monitoring website, Checkatrade, commenting: “We're over the moon with the service and work done. We can't speak highly enough of them. We've never been so pleased with the quality, standard and service provided from any trader before.” Another customer in Wolverhampton who chose the same simple door replacement service gave Dream Doors top marks, writing: “The fitting was very good. Great customer service as well. I have already recommended them.” Dream Doors was established in Hampshire in 1999 and now has more than 50 locally-owned franchised showrooms throughout the country. Richard's showroom – which has taken just six months to open – is the first to cover the WV postcode area. An experienced retailer in his own right before joining Dream Doors, Richard says that, as a franchise, the company offers something other kitchen operators can't. “I've visited plenty of businesses in my time, and this is definitely the most professional and well-run franchise I've ever seen,” he says. “It offers the best of both worlds for customers; they're buying from a national brand that's won numerous awards and built a fantastic reputation, but they're also dealing with a local business owner who has their own reputation and livelihood at stake.” Made-to-measure and manufactured in the UK, all Dream Doors kitchen doors and drawers are fitted in a single day. It's a convenient solution that leaves kitchens looking like new, but without the stress and upheaval of a full refurbishment. Most customers also choose new worktops and a sink, and while that might take an extra day, it is still at least half the cost of a comparable new kitchen. Dream Doors also supplies appliances from the best manufacturers and some of the most innovative storage solutions on the market, all making the best use of space in the kitchen. Richard offers a free guarantee on the doors and installation and asks for just a 50 percent deposit, only collecting the balance when customers are completely satisfied.

A Word From Your MP.........................
Having watched the beginnings of the World Cup in Brazil,
this country’s passion for football is easily seen; in homes across the country and the pubs and clubs in which it is being shown. It is clear that football can be a great ‘bringer together’ of people. While on the issue of football I wish to congratulate Wolverhampton Wanderers on their promotion to the Championship; we can only hope that this continues and next season we get back into the Premier League. While I do not wish to detract too much from the football fever which is currently sweeping the nation, I was recently very concerned to hear Sepp Blatter’s comments that he feels criticism of the Qatar World Cup bid are driven by racism and discrimination. I thought that his comments were wholly unacceptable and a distraction from the real issues. I believe that if we are serious about tackling racism in football, and I include FIFA within that, we need to focus on the terraces, where there is still a real issue rather than the back rooms of Fleet Street. After raising this issue in the House of Commons I am now more aware than ever on the work that is done in the UK and by the FA in tackling racism and promoting racial equality. This includes a whole sport inclusion and antidiscrimination plan, “Football is for Everyone”, and the FA’s inclusion advisory body, chaired by Heather Rabbatts, further promoting equality in the national game. Although as I pointed out earlier there is a still issue of equality that we must address, given this country’s proud history of tackling racism, I wish for a debate on the state of football to be held so that politicians in the House can send out the clearest message that racism and corruption in football is unacceptable and that by pushing the issue aside, FIFA risks tarnishing itself and ultimately the sport.
