concentrations in music technology and viola. His teaching area of expertise is in middle school strings instruction. As a clinician, he has traveled to California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. He is a member of the New Music Educators Hall of Fame. Mr. Poff has held teaching positions on the Navajo Reser-
vation, in Farmington, NM, at Seoul International School in Seoul, South Korea, in Las Cruces, NM and is currently the orchestra director at Brown Middle School in El Paso, Texas. As a performer in the viola section, this will be his nineteenth season with the Las Cruces Symphony. His hobbies
include traveling, cooking, gardening, working out and playing with his dog, Diego.
