Cébé 1500 PolAriZed When light is reflected from flat surfaces like the road, water, hoods of cars, etc, it becomes polarized as it travels in a more constant direction, usually horizontally. This creates a disturbing, dangerous and at times blinding intensity of reflected light. our Cébé 1500 polarized lenses contain a filter that blocks this intense reflected light thus reducing glare to reduce eye fatigue and ensuring optimal vision.

With our 2 photochromic lenses: variochrom perfo (Cat.1 > 3) and variochrom peak (Cat.2 > 4) that adapt to the weather variations in less than 20 secondes (recorded at 23°c), cébé offers a real solution to provide premium vision under diverse lighting conditions.

Anti-sCrAtCh CoaTiNG (Bayer tested) our specially formulated anti-scratch hard coating applied to the outside lens increases the lens hardness thus improving scratch and abrasion resistance. our coating also builds a better foundation for the adhesion of mirrored coating.

Mirrored CoaTiNG cébé flash mirror lenses have a uniformly and fully mirrored coating applied to the surface of lenses, on both centre and sides, unlike the traditional type of mirror coating, which colour only centralized at the centre of the lenses. This offers a better look, a uniformed eye perception and enhanced filtration performance.

Also called HEV (High-Energy Visible) light, blue light is the highest frequency light in the visible spectrum. it is known to be 15 times more harmful to the retina than other colours in the spectrum.

Because children generally receive 3 times the annual sun e x posure of adults, some experts say that half of a person lifetime of exposure to UV is attained by early adult hood.

A grey category 3 lens provides excellent and natural perception of surroundings (unlike many category 4 children lenses which can in fact be dangerous as children may not be able to distinguish stop signs while walking or riding their bike.).

Our Blue Light filter is not a coating rather it is special pigments in the lens mass itself meaning it won’t wear off or wear out.
