Hogyan vezényeljünk kamaraegyüttest? nemzetközi mesterkurzus zárókoncertje
Az Eötvös Péter Alapítvány idei első mesterkurzusának központi témája a kamarazene és a kamarazenekar. A világ különböző országaiból érkező fiatal karmesterek az Óbudai Danubia Zenekar (az alapítvány állandó zenekari partnere) művészeinek közreműködésével szerezhetnek tapasztalatot egy héten keresztül, hogyan is kell a kamarazenét értelmezni és megszólaltatni. A kurzuson Eötvös Péter és Vajda Gergely irányításával dolgozhatnak, valamint Fabián Panisello argentin származású spanyol zeneszerző is részt vesz saját darabjának betanításában, mely először hangzik majd el Magyarországon. Fabián Panisello Spanyolország egyik vezető kortárs zenei együttesének alapítója és művészeti vezetője. A Plural Ensemble a legfontosabb kortárs szerzők műveit mutatja be, valamint Eötvös Péterrel is rendszeresen dolgoznak együtt. Hosszú évek óta vezető tanára Madridban a Reina Sofia Zeneakadémiának, és vendégprofesszora a pekingi China Conservatory-nak. A koncert egyúttal az alapítvány mentorprogramjában 2020-ban részt vevő fiatal karmesterek és zeneszerzők első bemutatkozása is a Budapest Music Centerben.

How to conduct an ensemble? closing concert of International masterclass
The main subject of this year’s first masterclass of the Eötvös Péter Foundation is chamber music and chamber orchestra. Young conductors from different countries around the world, with the help of artists from the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda (the permanent orchestra partner of the foundation), will gain experience for a week on how to interpret and play chamber music. The course will be led by Péter Eötvös and Gregory Vajda, as well as the Spanish composer Fabián Panisello of Argentinean origin, who will be teaching his piece for the first time in Hungary. The concert will also be the first introduction of young conductors and composers participating in the Foundation’s mentoring program in 2020. Thanks to the support of BMC, the program can be followed live on the Foundation’s Youtube channel. The experience is indeed very important. Working with musicians lets you in on the many ‘secrets’ of instruments, their limits and characteristics, which is valuable for my own work as a composer. Being in direct contact with musicians over a long time and being part of the sound they make is greatly enjoyable and always reminds me of the fact that the score is only an interim stage and not an end in itself. It is there to be turned into movement, sound, vibration and in this way communicated to others.
