Knoll Farm housed children during WWII, refugees seeking political asylum during the Nicaraguan revolution and, more recently, has been the place of deep connection and learning for more than 2,000 social and environmental citizen leaders who came to the Refuge through Center for Whole Communities. Knoll Farm is known throughout New England and beyond as a place for conversation and renewal. This rich history of change-making continues to this day through the many organizations who continue to use and benefit from the Refuge.
