Ensure the Air Wave Health Cooker is fitted with an earthed plug at all times. Use the Air Wave Health Cooker only for its intended use, as described in this instruction manual. This product is intended for household use only, it is not intended for commercial or industrial use. Ensure the Air Wave Health Cooker is placed on a flat stable, dry heat resistant surface when in operation. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with warm parts of the appliance or any other hot surface. Care should be taken to arrange the power cord so that it can not be tripped over. We do not recommend the use of an extension power cord with this appliance. Before removing the plug from the mains outlet, turn the Cooker OFF To disconnect from the electricity supply, grip the plug and pull the plug from the wall outlet socket. Never pull on the cord. Do not allow the power cord to overhang the edge of a table. Do not operate the Cooker on a metal tray or any other metal surface. recommend to soak in cold water for 30minutes. Our tests show that our recommendation gives better results). Place 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil in oil channel in fries drum. Fill the drum with fries. (Do not overfill so you allow for the fries to turn). Set temperature to 205ºC (Max) and timer to 35mins. (Can extend for crispier fries). The result will differ depending on the type of potato used. Frozen Chips/fries. Put straight into the fries drum and set Temperature at 205ºC for 40/45minutes. Perfect Roast Potatoes. Select potatoes of a medium size or cut larger one to medium size. Par Boil with already boiled water for 10/12 minutes. Strain and let cool, then shake slightly in strainer. Pour 1 to 2 cups of Olive oil (Healthiest) or Vedgetable oil into a bowl. Season with salt, (and black pepper if desired). Add the potatoes and stir around the oil. Place the potatoes on the high rack in the Airwave Oven. Set for 20mins at 205ºC. Turn once and set for 20mins again at 205ºC. Note: As soon as you put the potatoes on the rack the Airwave fan will blow off any excess oil immediately, reducing oil content on the potato. Result: Taste and see.

Cleaning and Maintenance Disconnect the Air Wave Health Cooker from the mains electricity supply socket and allow the Cooker to cool completely before attempting any cleaning or maintenance. Metal parts will retain residual heat for a significant time after the Cooker has been switched off at the mains. Always take great care to make sure your Air Wave Health Cooker has cooled completely before attempting to disassemble or before attempting any cleaning operations. The Transparent Dome, Base Bowl and all accessories may be washed in warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth in minutes. (The advanced non stick NANO coated bowl and racks clean with a wipe or two so easily). Whereas all can be washed in your dishwasher, we do not recommend it for the Dome cover. Reasons: 1: The dome takes up a lot of space. 2. Just like it is recommended not to clean crystal glass in a dishwasher, detergents will deteriorate the view on the dome. The metal fries drum and other metal parts are better cleaned in your dishwasher. WARNING: Do NOT wash or immerse the Main Cooker Body, Heater/Control Assembly (1) in water or any other liquid. Do NOT place the Main Body of the Cooker or Heater/Control Assembly in a dishwasher. The outer surface of the Main Body Heater/Control assembly can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth and drying thor oughly by wiping over with a soft dry cloth. Do not use harsh detergents chemical cleaners or abrasives on plastic and metal surfaces. Abrasive cleaners may damage the NANO non stick coating on the Base Bowl and Accessories. Do not dismantle the Air Wave Health Cooker main Body Heater/Control Assembly, special tools are required and to do so is dangerous. Any repairs must be carried out by the manufacturer or their service representative. Failure to follow these instructions will invalidate your guarantee. 11

The distance from the heat source can be controlled by using the appropriate High or Low Cooking Rack. Times and Temperatures: The following times shown in the table on the next page are strictly approximate and should be used only as a guide. Cooking times can vary depending on the temperature of the meat when you place it in the Air Wave Health Oven, the thickness of the meat and also the quality of the meat. The Air Wave Health Cooker cooks 30% faster than a conventional oven, so a good guide is to reduce the time by 30% for recipes in your conventional oven cook books. A good example is cooking a 3lb. piece of beef. Your conventional cook book will say cook for 20 minutes per LB. and add 20 minutes, = 80 minutes. So cook for 56/60 minutes, (Always check the result before serving. It always depends on the quality of the meat). For foods more than two inches thick, insert an instant read thermometer for 10 to 20 seconds in the thickest part of the flesh, well away from any bone.

PLEASE NOTE: All foods vary in quality and texture. Check the food is cooked to your liking and continue cooking if not! THIS FOOD TABLE IS INTENDED AS A GUIDE ONLY. The Air Wave Health Cooker should not be used by children. Close supervision is necessary when the Cooker is used near children or invalids. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse the cable, plug or the Air Wave Health Cooker main body heater/control assembly in water or any other liquid. Do not operate the Air Wave Health Cooker if the power cord, plug or Cooker is damaged or if the Cooker has been dropped or has malfunctioned. If the main cord is damaged it must only be replaced by the manufacturer or their service representative, as special tools are required. To avoid risk of electric shock do not dismantle the Air Wave Health Cooker heater control/assembly. Any repairs must be carried out by the manufacturer or their service representative. Only use the Cooker on a dry, level, heat resistant, stable indoor surface. Do not place the Cooker where it can fall or be pulled into water or other liquids. Do NOT reach for an electrical appliance that has fallen into water, switch off the mains electricity supply immediately! Do not move the Cooker while it contains hot food. Use extreme caution when removing the hot base bowl, cooking racks or rotisserie. The Base Bowl has cool touch handles. For safety reasons we recommend that you use care to avoid touching the edge of the inner bowl that is HOT. Always lift the hinged heater/control assembly by handling the plastic control/assembly. Do NOT lift the hinged heater/control assembly by handling the transparent dome which may be hot. Avoid touching hot surfaces, always use the handles provided. When lifting the hinged heater/control assembly always take extreme care to avoid any escaping hot steam, making sure it is directed away from your face and skin. Do not place non heat resistant containers in the base bowl. Normal oven to tableware can be used safely. When using the rotisserie always check that the food can rotate freely and will not block the air grill openings under the fan in the heater/control assembly. Do not attempt any cleaning whilst the Cooker is still connected to the mains electricity supply. Always disconnect from the electricity supply allowing the Cooker to cool completely before attempting to clean your Air Wave Health Cooker. You can use your Air Wave Health Cooker outdoors in a dry environment. (It is a great compliment to your outdoor big BBQ.)

IMPORTANT Electrical Requirements: Please ensure that the voltage shown on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your household electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).

WARNING: Do not touch the Transparent Dome during the cooking process or when cooking is complete. The air inside the Cooker reaches a temperature of 205şC which makes the Transparent Dome very hot and will burn if touched.

Moisture may build up inside the Transparent Dome when cooked food in not removed soon after the cooking time has expired. This steam/moisture build up can be avoided by removing the food soon after cooking is completed or if it is desirable to keep food warm until served, reset the cooking Temperature Dial at a minimum level.

Hints and Tips on Cooking with the Air Wave Health Cooker Is your food cooked? Rare, medium and well done steaks Rare: Flesh springs back when pressed lightly with a finger. Feels springy! Medium: Flesh less springy takes more time to spring back. Well done: Very firm to touch with no spring back. Cooked Chicken: Pierce flesh with a fork or knife, apply a little pressure to release juice. The juice will be clear when fully cooked.

NOTE: Unwanted waste electrical products should not be disposed of along with your household waste. Please recycle the product where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice. This product is covered by the WEEE European directive to protect the environment.

Cooked Fish: Fish flesh will turn from translucent to opaque when cooked. Take care not to overcook fish. Meats: Foods that are more than 2ins. thick, such as beef roast, hams, stuffed whole chickens, should be turned halfway through the cooking time if you are NOT using the Rotisserie, to ensure even cooking. Always start with top side facing down (the side you want “up” when you serve). The exception is turkey and chicken breast which don’t need turning. Browning: Distance from the heat source is important. The Air Wave Health Cooker browns quickly so foods that need more than 18 20 minutes cooking time should be further from the heat source to prevent over browning (Use Low Rack). Thin steaks and chops will be cooked before the surface goes a deep brown, so these foods need to be closer to the heat source. Place these foods as close to the heat source as possible (Use High Rack) and see they are as dry as possible as excess moisture prevents browning.
