Jr. Pet Stylist – Bather

Someone who is brand new to grooming and wants to build a career in the industry. Partners are in this role for twelve weeks, then transition to our Pet Stylist Apprentice role.

Pet Stylist Apprentice – Groomer in Training

Someone who has completed their twelve weeks as a Junior Pet Stylist and has begun their six weeks of training as a groomer with one of our experienced Grooming Academy Instructors or Grooming Mentors.

Pet Stylist – Groomer

Someone who has completed training (or is already an experienced professional groomer) and can complete full grooms and haircuts 100% independently.

Pet Stylist Professional – High Volume Groomer

Someone with strong grooming skills who can match a high level of demand, this role comes with the opportunity to increase your incentive as well - this role is available after one year of employment with Petco.

Mobile Pet Stylist – Groomer ly available in certain locations currently.)

Grooming Salon Leader – Salon Manager

Someone who wants to both groom and manage a team, a person who wants to take ownership of the business in their salon and drive its success.

Grooming Mentor – Trainer for Aspiring Pet Stylists

Someone who is already a Grooming Salon Leader and would also like to help our next generation of groomers grow and succeed.

Grooming Academy Instructor – Trainer for Aspiring Pet Stylists

Someone who wants to train our next generation of Pet Stylists full time.
