ORGANIC CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES

Healthy Whole Food Recipes For Your Dog

 Â

I must warn you about the many articles that are written for animal magazines, FaceBook post and animal blogs giving advice and recipes for you to make at home. There seems to be a trend amongst non-nutritionist to give little attention to the make-up of the recipe. Canines need at least 55% - 75% meat protein in their meals. The use of vegetables, fruit and oils should be to add needed nutritional value not to make the end product look like human food. These vegetables and fruits are almost worthless unless properly prepared to be bioavailable to your pet. The proper selection of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and live enzymes needed for your individual pet will determine what is added or left out. Any good rotation diet plan will mix and match ingredients to serve the purpose of maintaining a over all healthy immune system. This recipe is meant for the average sized, healthy pet companion. If you have a special needs pet, young puppy, older dog or a special breed of dog that needs an adapted recipe call or write me for a personalized formulation.
