GETTING STARTED 1. Reseller Agreement You will be emailed a Reseller Agreement Form outlining mutually agreed upon expectations, terms, and compensation. Once signed and received, we will set up a call to map out a timeline for getting you everything else you need as outlined below.
2. Training Training can be provided in-person, thru phone conferences, or by accessing our educational materials either through email or the PNS online eLearning Center. Most likely, you have already received some of our service manuals. Whether your experience with pets and retail is minimal or extensive, we will make sure you are prepared and confident enough to become your pet community’s go-to place for all their pet nutrition needs. Once we have received and approved your Reseller Agreement you will be provided with the following information in manual form: PNS Nutrition Philosophy & Four Core Standards Product Knowledge Pricing, Feeding and Handling Guidelines Order Entry and Product/Service Delivery Procedures Consultation Service Protocols We are committed to helping you grow and flourish through our partnership. Beyond the initial training, our experienced team is happy to assist in day-to-day questions that may arise, troubleshooting, customer retention and marketing strategies. In fact, we prefer to be involved in developing innovative launch and seasonal marketing strategies and promotions to ensure growth and quick sales.
3. Convenient Order and Delivery Systems Your orders can be placed several ways. Using our On-Site iPad Kiosk, though secure Online and Mobile Merchant Account Order Entry, via Telephone, or via FAX. These options will be
discussed and together we will determine the best fit for your business. Food orders are made-to-order, frozen and vacuum sealed for freshness and shipped direct to the customer eliminating the need for you to physically handle product. Should you decide to stock food, wholesale pricing and terms will be provided and those items will be exempt from commissionable sales.
4. Compensation and Commission Commission on Direct Shipped Food orders will be paid via check by the 15th of the month following order process. Stocked food will be exempt from commissionable sales and will be provided at wholesale pricing and terms. 50% CIA plus shipping/ Balance Net 10. Net 2% Discount will be given on all stock orders paid 100% CIA A $30 Flat Fee will be paid for all Custom Formulation solds. Consultation Services are Non-Commissionable as they are an investment of our time with your customers to help them make the decision to buy our products though your business.
DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: We offer not only the best natural and organic handmade food, but beyond that we concentrate on how each group of nutrients work together to produce meals that are bioavailable and better help boost immunity, heal and maintain optimum health. We seek out the finest regional holistic and organic farms for our vegetables, fruits, herbs and meat to offer our clients the best NON- GMO, natural and organic food products available.
Breed Specific Diet Plans With over 450 pure breed and 250 mixed breed formulations in organic, premium and natural blends there is nowhere else to turn for optimum breed specific food. We provide resources for DNA testing for mixed breeds, so we can create the proper diet for any pet. Simply place your order based on breed and food will be shipped within 7-10 business days.
Veterinary Prescriptive Service We have over 850 formulations for all varieties of aliments and diseases. We have the ability to make custom formulations based on a collaborative effort between your client and the veterinary nutrition team needed to create an individual diet and nutrition plan that will boost immunity and help the healing process for all types of illness and disease. PNS Health History Form is to be filled out and emailed to PNS If additional information is needed, or if additional testing and lab work is recommended an email will be sent outlining the requested next steps, and/or a FREE consultation will be set up to discuss and acquire the necessary information. Upon review and receipt of all necessary information the recommended feeding and formulation is prescribed and quoted. The client will have the option of buying the formulation or having the food made by us and shipped direct. Our standard nutrition consultation services are available by way of phone or internet to assist and complete the sale.
*A Note About Veterinaian Involvement Our relationships to the major veterinary universities, research organizations, vet clinics and individual veterinarians are the backbone of our nutrition products and health services. Pet Nutrition System’s products are of the highest quality organic ingredients and are in part designed by leading Veterinarians not just “recommended by� them. This service is based on a program designed to evaluate physical problems and then prescribe the correct diet to help the body heal itself and stay healthy. It is common practice for us to work with your clients veterinarians to obtain health history, specialty testing and existing lab results. We can also recommend regionally selected holistic veterinarians since not all veterinarians have extensive nutrition background or nutrition focused services. Together as a team, we can develop a well thought out nutrition strategy and coordinate sourcing the labs to do the necessary blood tests required. The result is a collaborative nutrition strategy designed to meet the specific nutrient requirement for the individual pet. We are fully capable of evaluating dietary deficiencies in the treatment or cotreatment of allergies, auto-immune system related illness and/or diseases such as cancer. Allergy and Bio Nutritional Testing is available, even for well pets, since the results can identify deficiencies that could lead to disease. In this respect, we provide nutrition services beyond what is available though veterinary clinics with little or no true veterinary nutrition offerings. We not only focus on healing with our custom Veterinary Prescriptive Formulations, but we are
focused on preventative nutrition practices that can extend life and improve overall health and wellness. We hold fast to the belief that optimum health starts and ends with a well thought out nutritional diet plan.
HOLISTIC Whole Food Products Organic and naturally raised bison, beef, chicken, turkey or fish is blended by hand with locally farmed organic and natural fruits and vegetables then seasoned with anti-oxidant herbs and oils to create complete and balanced, bio-available species and breed specific nutrition for both cats and dogs. These products are shipped frozen and vacuum sealed and have a minimum shelf life of six months. If stocked wholesale discounts will be provided. If shipped direct they are equally commissionable as with the other direct ship product lines.
CUSTOM Formulations Individual diet plans and formulations are available for healthy pets based on breed, age, activity level and sex. They will be managed via email communication unless it is determined they need a VPN formulation. Upon completion of the PNS Health History Form and once payment is received, custom formulations will be emailed within two weeks and hard copies will be mailed within four weeks.
Animal Nutrition Consultation Service Via both phone and email, we provide consultation services to answer questions and help your customers get the answers they need.
ONLINE RETAILING If you have you a website and are currently selling products online, we offer tiered wholesale pricing if you carry all of our SKU’s, and manage the sales transactions on their websites and through your merchant accounts. We provide all product images and descriptions, banners, nutrition information and links to our extensive Pet Nutrition Systems eLibrary. Please let us know if you are interested in discussing these details.
MARKETING SUPPORT We have designed Display and POP materials for in store and online use. We will provide you with online ad and product elements, email campaign templates, social media marketing materials and strategies to get you started on the road to promoting your business as a Pet Nutrition Systems provider. We will discuss initial launch strategies and ongoing seasonal promos including our 12 WEEK PET HEALTH CHALLENGE. We are also available to provide on-site Nutrition Seminars, Cooking Classes and Pet Event Programs. Bottom line is –we are here to support you in any way we can. We are open to creative and innovative ideas and will provide you with whatever we can in the process!
