FundraisinG Middle & School Students General tips
Set goals for your fundraiser!
Whether it’s a monetary goal, an amount of people you want to reach out to, or the simple goal of getting everyone involved and working like a team, make them and work towards them. People work much better together when they have a common goal in mind that is important to them, so take some time to all meet and develop these goals.
Build a plan!
During your initial meeting, create an overview of what marketing efforts you will utilize, who you will reach out to, and which students will be involved in which tasks. Once a plan is in place, your overall fundraising efforts will go by much smoother then when everyone is following their own ideas of what to do.
Spread the word about your fundraiser by posting on social media!
Post about your efforts on your own personal profile as well as your group page. And be sure to follow us @greencorefundraising and tag us in your fundraising posts or even direct messaging us your fundraising photos. We would love to see all the amazing things your organization is up to and even share it on our own pages!
Utilize your resources!
Have your parents email your campaign code to their coworkers, stop in to your teacher’s classrooms and share your campaign code, or even calling your family members. What’s great about this fundraiser is that you’re selling a useful product, so market it as one!
