Petoskey Plastics Brand Guidelines

OUR BRAND Our brand is who we are. It’s the set of ideas, emotions and associations that come to mind whenever anyone sees Petoskey Plastics name and products.

2.1 BRAND DEFINED We like to think of branding as something customers do to us. After experiencing a Petoskey Plastics product or service, a customer has an impression of that product and decides how to “brand” that product in his or her own mind. In other words, the Petoskey Plastics brand isn’t what our Marketing Department says it is, it is what our customer thinks it is.

2.3 TAGLINE Plastics Made Better. Always use the designated logo with the tagline found on the server. If you need to recreate it, the tagline should appear directly underneath the logomark centered underneath the red sun. The tagline should always be in Petoskey Plastics Green- PMS 348, typeset in Helvetica Neue Light. Tagline should not be smaller than 7pt font. (See page 4 for rules on when to use logo with tagline)

2.2 BRAND POSITION High-performance co-extruded plastic bags and film using recycled and post-consumer materials. Since 1960, Petoskey Plastics has been a world-class innovator in the production of blown polyethylene film products. From automotive suppliers to government agencies, Petoskey Plastics provides effective, cost-efficient and enviromentally responsible solutions for an incredible variety of plastic sheeting and bag applications.

OUR LOGO The Petoskey Plastics logo has significant commercial value and should be used in a professional manner. The logo is used to identify our websites, advertising, presentations and marketing collateral exclusively dedicated to the sale of Petoskey Plastics products. This section provides logo guidelines to ensure the proper applications of the logo.

3.1 ACCEPTABLE VERSIONS

FULL COLOR

The primary version of the logo will appear on most Petoskey Plastics communications. The logo should appear on a white background whenever possible. If it must be on any other color besides white, the logo must always have good contrast with the background to ensure maximum impact and readability. The symbol portion of the logo should not be used as a substitute for the logo except in cases where it’s being used a graphic device (see logomark). The logo should always be used as a whole, including both the symbol and the logotype.

Plastics Made Better.

FULL COLOR WITH TAGLINE

The version of the logo with the corporate tagline. Not to be used in instances where the tagline is too small to read. (Shown is the smallest size that should be used). Acceptable on all corporate letterhead and presentations.

When production constraints do not allow the use of the full color version, use the black and white version of the logo.

The symbol can be used as a graphic device or watermark in printed publications where there are no images to complement the text and the standard logo has already been established elsewhere within the file.

RECYCLING GRAPHIC

FULL COLOR WITH MISSION STATEMENT & LOCATIONS BLACK & WHITE

LOGOMARK

The version of the logo with the mission statement and locations listed. To be used when other copy and images are not being used. Not to be used in instances where the mission statement is too small to read. (Shown is the smallest size that should be used).

Use this logo when referring to Petoskey Plastics’ recycling process. Must only be used when Petoskey Plastics name is clearly visible or has been well established elsewhere on the page or design. Use whenever a document has been printed on recycled paper. Commonly used on paper floor mats. In applications where the green color is not available, black may be used.

3.3 CONTROL AREA The recommended minimum clearance is to protect the logo. The logo will appear on many different applications and formats and this will help to give it clarity and presence. Never place logo in such a close proximity to other content that it makes it unreadable such as photography, art, type or borders.

SIZE OF CONTROL AREA The sum height of the words “Petoskey Plastics” is used as the unit of measure for determining the size of the control area.

05 Petoskey Plastics Brand Guidelines

Do not reproduce the logo in colors other than those specified on previous page.
