THE LONER IN THE DESERT
Georgia O’keeffe found in Northern New Mexico her spiritual home, the only place where she could be true to herself. Ghost Ranch , an adobe house she owned in Santa Fe, became the witness of her evolution as an artist. The landscape turned into a mirror and the skulls, dispossesed of all

meat, showed her the true nature of things. We are only bare bones and dust, it seems to be the message, I feel like myself here, devoided of all distracting exuberance. In contrast, her paintings exploded with colour and let us examine nature through her lovely magnifying glass like no other artist ever did.

THE BEAUTY OF SOLITUDE
She allowed us to see leaves under her unique perspective.
No other artist knew how to see beauty in death.
Her hands made flowers blossom
