PETROMAT Research 2015 ตามที่สํานักงานคณะกรรมการอุดมศึกษา (สกอ.) ได สนับสนุนงบประมาณให กับศูนย ความเป นเลิศด านเทคโนโลยีป โตรเคมี และวัสดุ (PETROMAT) ผ านทางสํานักพัฒนาบัณฑิตศึกษาและวิจัยด านวิทยาศาสตร และเทคโนโลยี (สบว.) โดยมีนโยบาย ให ศูนย ความเป นเลิศฯ ขับเคลื่อนโดยใช งานวิจัยเป นพันธกิจหลัก ในการดําเนินงานในป งบประมาณ 2555 (ระยะเวลาดําเนินงานตั้งแต 1 ตุลาคม 2555 ถึง 30 กันยายน 2557) PETROMAT ได จดั สรรงบประมาณสนับสนุนทัง้ ทุนผูช ว ยวิจยั ทุนวัสดุวจิ ยั ค าจ างผูช ว ยวิจยั ในระดับปริญญาโท ปริญญาเอกและนักวิจยั หลังปริญญาเอก จํานวน 42, 13 และ 4 คน ตามลําดับ ทุนไปเสนอผลงานวิจยั ในและต างประเทศ จํานวน 150 ทุน รวมถึงมีการ จัดประชุมโปรแกรมวิจยั อย างสมํา่ เสมอ เพือ่ ผลักดันให เกิดงานวิจยั ทีม่ ที ศิ ทางทีช่ ดั เจน เชือ่ มโยงแผนการวิจยั แบบบูรณาการ กับยุทธศาสตร ของชาติ โดยสามารถแบ งเป น 4 กลุ มวิจัยหลัก และ 14 หัวข อวิจัยย อย ตามศาสตร และการประยุกต ใช ที่จะนําเสนอต อไปภายในเล ม PETROMAT Research 2015 นี้

Office of The Higher Education Commission (OHEC) identified the need to improve research and development (R&D) in petrochemical and materials technologies by supporting the Center of Excellence on Petrochemical and Technology (PETROMAT) via S&T Postgraduate Education and Research Development Office (PERDO). In the 2012 fiscal year (October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2014), PETROMAT provided research assistantships (master, Ph.D., and post-doc. degree 42, 13, and 4 persons, respectively), materials and supplies, supported student to attend conferences 150 scholarships. In addition, PETROMAT promotes regular research program meeting to drive research directions that are in line with the country’s strategy. PETROMAT emphasizes on four important research programs, which can be grouped into 14 research topics by subjects and applications. New Siam
