Content Dear Customer, with the brochure that you hold in your hand pewag takes a new and significant step in the company’s development. This year we are introducing tracks in our catalog, allowing pewag to become a full-range supplier of tracks and traction chains for forestry machines. The tracks are manufactured according to the same philosophy as the traction chains – state of the art technology designed for the toughest requirements. The first snow chain in the world was manufactured by pewag in 1912. Since then the company has been leading the industry in terms of quality and durability. The tracks that are now offered for forestry machines have the same unique features as the traction chains – durable, rugged and economical. In addition, pewags tracks are both an environmentally friendly and a gentle alternative as the driving causes minimal impact on the ground. In over 500 years pewag has been manufacturing chains of highest quality. The story can be traced as far back as 1479 and the first forge in Brückl. Subsequently, pewag has grown into a leading global player with several marketing departments. The focus has always been high standards and pewag requires the same in both manufacturing and the choice of materials. To ensure quality, all production is left in Europe. When using tracks, always adhere to the maximum air pressure allowed to the tire. The inflation pressure has to be measured from a cold tire. Check regularly. 8 long and 8 short track locks are included.
