Performance In Motion® (PIM) is a limited marketing branding strategy that allows Performance Foodservice OpCos to test products in a limited fashion; allowing us to determine if a new innovative or regional-specific product would be better suited for a permanent placement in an existing PFG brand enterprise-wide. By testing these items, we can better determine if a product resonates with OpCos and their customers before a supplier incurs the full expense of branded packaging. The main advantage of the PIM program is that it allows a quicker to market strategy than our typical branding process; as the only packaging required is a branded sticker.
